Meh, view it this way. If the sens make the playoffs, they will get out in the first round, first round means a 15-18 or something pick. They don't get a star prospect they could use, and they stay an average team.

Tarasenko was drafted in that range... Just saying the draft is an educated guess in who the stars will be. Draft position is 100% hype not 100% substance... Ironically as I write this Tarasenko was Drafted by St. Louis using Ottawa's pick at #16 trading D men David Rundblad to draft him... wouldn't mind if history would repeat it's self
