Haula? He gets way more pucks on the net and creates better shots, he’s been very unlucky this season even if he’s not exactly a gifted shooter.

McLeod scores about as many as he should and his 9 goals in 55 games was completely fluky.

I just think Haula is really approaching Cammalleri/Ryder levels of decline where the shooting percentage plummets. Palmieri has been there the last couple years (looks to be coming back a bit this year so far?) and Tatar is even another example.

McLeod is one of the worst goal scorers arguably in the league though.

I'm glad that silly thing conspired to land me here. This team gave me more to cheer about in one year than the Thrashers gave me in a decade. And now right at 10 years later it looks like they're going to do it again. Glad to be along for the ride with all of you, even on nights like this one.

McLeod had 9 goals in 55 games??? I had totally wiped that season off of my memory. I'm thinking how many of those were empty netters but we didnt win that many games so probably not many. Oh boy. What a throwback stat.

Man.. I'm looking at that season. Gusev had 5 points in 20 games. Vatanen's corpse was on his second stint. Kuokkanen had those weird points first with Zajac and then Hughes. Matt Tennyson played 21 games! Jonas Siegenthaler played those 8 games he looked bad in and everyone deemed that trade was bad. Aaron Dell played 7 games with .857 and Pavel Zacha was our leading scorer.

Season to remember. I remember I wanted Nick Merkley to become a thing.
