I am kind of adhering to this mindset. This team was dominant no more than a month and a half ago. Somewhere along the lines we lost confidence and lost our game. Not to quote players a bunch but guys need to buy in. If not..THAT is when you make a chance.

The confusing part is why they've done a 180. How can a hockey team go from being so dominant to being so dominated? All of the sudden some of our core players look like they should be playing in the minors if not for waivers. Is this a conditioning/diet issue? Low testosterone? Lack of machismo? Maybe the Kings should hire Ric Flair to pump up the boys before our next game?

In watching last nights game I came to the conclusion that the following should be an immediate if not major change
TT-kopi-carter
King-richards-frattin (nolan)
Brown-stoll-Williams
Clifford-lewis-nolan (frattin)
The shifts that top line played last night showed me they had instant chemistry they should get at least until the Olympic break to find out how good they can be.

Toffoli is not a LW. So why are you putting him there?

Would never trade Richards. Yes he is struggling, but Richie is a guy you do not let go. I'm sure that opinion isn't going to be much popular though.

Wait!!! No Lewis in the top 6!?!

On Vey... he is an upgrade over Fraser right now. There is no risk in playing him since the Kings are going to win a game any time soon. Only thing Fraser does that Vey doesn't is hit. Being the 2nd smallest guy on the team (fraser) who cares. Well it was kinda funny when Fraser hit Chara. Chara had a look on his face like he couldn't believe he just got hit by a midget.

I suspect that Vey is in the minors for the same reason Lewis is in the top 6. Our coach is special. The desicion is DL's, but he finally sent Pearson/Vey back down because Sutter would rather play grinders. Hey hows that working out for everyone!!! What's the shooting % at?:laugh::laugh::laugh: 3% was it? Only King to score for the last 5 games in Kopitar? How is that even possible?

You're entitled to you're own opinion, I think it'd be best to let him go.

People forget who the Kings' best performing center was in the 2013 playoffs, and it wasn't Kopitar. It's a down year for Richards but I think he can bounce back. Bergeron is playing like crap right now too but I don't think anyone doubts him to return to form at some point, even if it isn't this season. And he's had some down years in the past as well. It goes with the territory of these undersized centers who play against bigger centers.

Everyone likes to mock the playoff excuse, but it's a fact.

Eh bergeron is doing great defensively at least, at least that's why no one considers him a liability even when he's not putting up points. Richards is.

And Kopitar was the best center in the playoffs. But Richards did do very good in the beginning of the playoffs but it dropped off, and kopitar was the best center that year. But I guess you can have your opinion.

Kopitar also falls into that category, but there are a lot of centers around the league who aren't doing much if they aren't producing. We're lucky enough to have such complete players. Kopitar/Richards/Stoll might be maddening offensively sometimes, but more often than not they're good defensively. We're spoiled on that front.

Well Richards has been pretty terrible on defense this year as well so.

Kopi disappeared last year unfortunately, he was awesome in the cup run. Richards is a great player who has become a whipping boy for some. I think he needs a better training regime in the off season but that is neither here nor there. The whole team is in a funk. Not having consistent lines could be a part of it.
