What was the knick capacity last season?
To refresh my perspective, the Ranger banners are on the north side and the 300s are on the west side?

Anybody know what the view is like in section 415. I have tickets to the 17th game vs the kings. I'm beyond excited to go its been a few years since I was at MSG

Depends what row it is. It has the same view that the old 400's did but now rows 6 and 7 are obstructed with row 5 also not being a great seat.

Where do the obstructed view seating starts in the 200's? I want to get tickets but Im not sure where the scoreboard begins to be blocked with the addition of the bridges?

New scoreboard is amazing, caught myself watching the game on the scoreboard rather than on the ice a couple of times. Liking the bridges as well.

For those interested in my desk-obstruction, it turns out that MSG had forgotten to block my seats from hockey sales, though the seats in front of and behind mine were blocked as obstructed.
They are still searching for new seats for me... looking forward to what they come up with

Also, anyone have any success selling on the NYR Ticket Exchange using the barcodes?

I tested my season ticket barcodes there once, seemed to work.
However, it took some time after I printed my tickets for that barcode to be accepted on the ticket exchange. (maybe a day or so, certainly not instantly)

Where does it say that? On ticketmaster, it still claims 6 and 7 are obstructed seats.

Yup they still say limited view. I know for the Knicks they consider 6 and 7 full view since you can see the entire court.

So those two rows were empty at the game?

At least seats 3-4 in sect 215 seemed empty for the affected rows (at least rows 7-9) (I was looking from afar from my upgraded seats for the night so not sure :) ). I believe they are selling seats 1-2, I did not check the view on those, but seems to me it could be slightly obstructed by the desks, not sure.

Edit: Ticketmaster says FULL VIEW for seats 1-2 on 215 row 8, whereas seats 3-4 are mine with the desk blocking the goal. I would stay away from any seats around that row in Sect 215 altogether

As am I for this saturday. Keeping my fingers crossed I end up getting a nice upgrade like you have these past 2 games! :yo:

you have seasons in the same section? Or you bought from niinah?

He is buying my seats for Saturday -- wherever they may be :)

So far my rep has been extremely accommodating and upgraded me for both home games (yesterday also my buyer had backed out because of the obstruction so I was "forced" to go myself).
I keep asking about the seats for Saturday's game but they are still "working on it"

Edit: I am being spoiled by spending intermissions at the Delta 360 club and watching the last few minutes of play against the glass, literally, I may never want to go back to 200's x)
I took a friend yesterday, he almost backed out too because I didn't know which seats I was getting. In the end he was *very* happy, he even got to glove-bump Henrik coming off the ice

I wouldn't be surprised if you get a mix of seats all season. They may not have anything available for the entire season, so you could be dealing with a best available type situation.

Has anyone sat in Sec 420? Curious if the scoreboard is obstructed at all here, specifically row 3.

Best I have to go on is the interactive chart on the website. It shows the row seeing the scoreboard (albeit the old one). I'm skeptical because the chart was made in the summer before the renovation was complete.

Took this pic from 420 last year during the Cornell - Michigan game. I forget if it was row 2 or 3 but it was definitely one of those rows.
