I don’t think anyone played well, but Hajek is especially bad. This was a rough night for him.

Also that third line is awful. They don’t do anything well.

Not going to overthink a road loss to a Cup favorite without Panarin or Igor. Hajek was horrific after a few decent games. The fringes of the lineup are getting exposed. Chytil/Gauthier/McKegg doing nothing on a nightly basis. Barron needs to get a run of games here

If Hajek ever suits up for one more game as a Ranger, it'll be an indictment of both Gallant and Drury. I don't care if he goes back to the Czech Republic, the AHL, Russia, or another NHL team, I just don't want to see him playing for us again.

Not to say every goal tonight was on him, but two of them were, and he was on the ice for at least three that I saw.

This road trip will be a big one for us. Need to bounce back next game, especially considering Carolina, Washington, and Pittsburgh seem to never lose (Boston finally lost today, but they've been hot as well).

I missed most of the third and first and saw the second. If felt like they were on an odd man rush every time down the ice. Or at least like 2 on 2 where the gained the blueline with speed. It looked they never played this defensive system before, which is weird because it's been coming along nicely. Their defensive system has looked good for a while now. Including against the same team earlier in the season. I hope this was just a stinker.
