Whatever he is or isn't saying, it isn't working. Take it public, even Keefe is starting to finally speak out albeit far too late.

If Rempe gets nothing Leaf fans should honestly consider a freaking civil suit against the NHL. It's not like there is no prior evidence of crooked refs, right Tim?

This is a far more reasonable take than shanahan was placed in the leafs office by the nhl to ensure they don’t succeed and people pretending to know what is or isn’t said behind closed doors.

And I agree I would love to see them speak out more against the officiating as it’s definitely got a lot of issues. Keefe is finally growing on me for that reason.

I agree, I really don't know if he does or does not say anything to the NHL.

However, nothing is changing with how the NHL abuses our Leafs with unfair officiating and very unbalanced punishment of on-ice incidents.

He needs to have a voice with the media too. Take the darned NHL fine and call out the NHL on it's officiating and over punishment of Leaf players at every turn.

How many more times do we have to witness our players getting penalties and suspensions when other teams players get nothing or small fines for the exact same infractions.

If Reaves had done to a Ranger what Rempe did to Boosh, I can assure you we would have seen a penalty assessed to him, with even a probable suspension.

What Rempe did to Boosh was a targeted attack, via a charge with contact causing Boosh to be hit hard against the boards causing a head injury to Boosh. Rempe also jumped into the hit as well, also supposedly illegal. No one can tell me that it wasn't as bad, or worse, than what Rielly did to that puke of a player from the Sens !!!

Oh come on yourself !!!
that I agree with completely.

It sucks for Boosh, but at his height Rempe is going to hit most players in or near the head. As for the jumping into another player stuff, that's just momentum going into the player you're trying to hit. This is the way big hits have been laid by players in the league for decades.
It’s a rookie thing, Clark used to fly into people all the time, the kid’s trying to make a name for himself, he’ll calm down. Reeves showed him that isn’t acceptable and the kid obligated, which with his dace being mashed potatoes took some nerve imo…..

Rempe is going to be out of the league with his own career ending fights in short order. This guy is completely reckless even with his own body.
Can you remember being young, stupid, and full of puss and vinegar?

Size does not give a player a green light to do headshots.

As a former Senior Vice President of the NHL and the man who overlooked player safety for the league, Brendan Shanahan needs to speak to the league about that hit. You have to protect your players. That was a dangerous play. Tre talked about how this team lacked 'snot'/'p and v', whatever you want to call it. You want the team to care about each other, get off the pot and show them YOU care.

Apparently a lot of stuff happens behind the scenes. Rachel Dorie has said teams routinely put together video packages which they send to the league to complain about officiating/penalties ect. I'd assume the Leafs are doing stuff we haven't heard about

Which means the NHL is ignoring them just as much. Not a good sign.

If the Leafs have the ability to win the cup, it's possible that the league might treat them fairly through the cup finals as a "one-off" and let the better team win. The motivation for this would be to allow them to return to another few decades of bias and corruption after that, favouring American teams as they have been since about 1993.

If it's a concussion, in the long run he may not be fine at all. That's not something you mess around with.
If it was a major concussion he wouldn't have been walking around the dressing room after the game. Hopefully it's a short term thing.

What kind of cerebrally challenged knuckledragging POS at 6'7 jumps to hit a guy into the boards?

What equally cerebrally challenged neanderthal league allows this to happen with nary a penalty?

Send that fridge to the UFC and few of the refs and league executives along with him. I will even pay to watch the event.

Stop revenue sharing?
LOL!

The league doesn’t answer to the Leafs.
Who do they play if the league doesn’t supply n opponent?

The Leafs could technically stop revenue sharing with a few other teams and break the league. What would happen if the Leafs built a case and sued the league? Stopped payment. Threatened to pull the team and logo? What if they said the league is corrupt and not in the same spirit as the original 7? What if they decided to form a new league or in partnership threatened to. What if Canadian teams sued them that the NHL should not be allowed to use the Stanley Cup?

The Leafs have immense power that they do not utilize for essentially the greater good. Used that term on purpose of course.

The first thing any of the above would trigger is the firing of Gary Bet99man.

BTW That was a charge with intent to injure

Seems so bizarre to me that Tim Peel has turned into some big Leaf hating troll online in his forced retirement. So undignified for someone who was once affiliated with the NHL to have fallen so far.

It just garners the most attention. Leafs get used for this an awful lot. It's like Biznasty, all of a sudden he starts going Leafs Leafs Leafs....the biggest population gets the biggest draw, whether there be profit available or not.
