Leaving the feet is always dicey (your body is elevated up whether you like it or not when you make contact on a big hit). He also seems to avoid head contact. But how is it not charging and/or boarding? Man we get the shaft from the league. And here's the mindset behind the people giving us that shaft:

Shanahan is obviously working for the NHL and NOT MLSE and our Leafs. His silence on all the Reffing and DoPS nonsense is PROOF of this.

Shanahan is an NHL plant to keep our Leafs from being bottom feeders, BUT NOT good enough to be a Stanley Cup winner. The sooner he is fired the better !!!

Tim Peel openly talks about players he hated when he was an NHL referee.

But of course, you'll be called a conspiracy theorist if you mention bias.

Tim Peel has very openly been anti-Leafs. He claimed that Gudas grabbing a players stick in the Game 5 overtime goal was legal despite grabbing the stick being clearly against the rules of the game and in the rulebook. I don't think his bias started after he was let go. At least one official biased against the Leafs got removed from the league.

It was worse than just grabbing the stick too. If you watch closely, he uses it to push Jankrok out of the way so he couldn't block the shot. If Peel really did defend that, we know everything we need to know about NHL officiating competency.

Yeah, that's charging, and a penalty.

Obviously, the refs missed it but it should be reviewed as a charge resulting in injury is suspendable.

To be fair, he wasn't even good enough to be an NHL ref. He was THAT bad. We know how low the standards are for that.

Whatever he is or isn't saying, it isn't working. Take it public, even Keefe is starting to finally speak out albeit far too late.

If Rempe gets nothing Leaf fans should honestly consider a freaking civil suit against the NHL. It's not like there is no prior evidence of crooked refs, right Tim?

With all due respect, it wasn't missed. Four officials within a relatively small playing area means everything is seen. The perspective that NHL refs are very good at what they do, there are several of them on a small patch of ice, they are allowed to commiserate, and they have replay at their disposal, leads me to believe many games are scripted.

C'mon. A delicate, almost unseen, tapping motion with your stick on an opponents hand is two minutes every time. Leaving your feet to smash an opponents head into the glass leaving him obviously concussed was not a penalty. They "miss" that?

I agree, I really don't know if he does or does not say anything to the NHL.

However, nothing is changing with how the NHL abuses our Leafs with unfair officiating and very unbalanced punishment of on-ice incidents.

He needs to have a voice with the media too. Take the darned NHL fine and call out the NHL on it's officiating and over punishment of Leaf players at every turn.

How many more times do we have to witness our players getting penalties and suspensions when other teams players get nothing or small fines for the exact same infractions.

If Reaves had done to a Ranger what Rempe did to Boosh, I can assure you we would have seen a penalty assessed to him, with even a probable suspension.

What Rempe did to Boosh was a targeted attack, via a charge with contact causing Boosh to be hit hard against the boards causing a head injury to Boosh. Rempe also jumped into the hit as well, also supposedly illegal. No one can tell me that it wasn't as bad, or worse, than what Rielly did to that puke of a player from the Sens !!!

Oh come on yourself !!!
