Not going to say there are no ways because there are....but it would be extremely difficult depending on what he's looking for and with the dead cap the Wild have to deal with over the next 3 seasons (from the Parise/Suter buyouts)

There is absolutely a way to make Fiala fit, it involves trading Dumba instead, and 98% of Wild fans think there's no way Guerin will do that.

Apart from that, the only other way would be for Fiala to take like 4M or less.

I remember drafting him in fantasy hockey keeper league, being thrilled I got him at like 12th overall in our prospect draft. He then put up 0 points in his first ten games or whatever it was in college and I moved him as part of a deal. Immense regret.

That’s a bummer lol. Also drafted him at 12th but held on to him knowing he was going to take some time!
