He's been outstanding in the AHL, despite playing on a pretty bad team with not much scoring.

Roslovic has also had a strong season in the AHL.

Two very nice prospects from the latter part of the 1st round in 2015.

He's been over PPG for at least 30 games now. I think he's figured it out at this level. He's probably in the NHL and producing next season with his skillset.

since he's been sent down, the Moose have scored only 108 goals in the 46 games. Connor has 40 points on those 108 goals, which puts him in on 37% of the Moose's offence. Pretty damn impressive for a 20 year old

Also, Connor has scored >20% of the team's goals since joining. That's impressive. :handclap:

dude is absolutely on fire. Won't get any games at the end of the year?

Didn't sound like it. Maurice made a comment last week that we "had enough young guys fighting for jobs, but that's Chevy's decision" when asked about it. (lets not discuss the fact we're playing an old UFA in Thorburn constantly and a 24 year old AHLer in Tanev to go along with it)

Winnipeg plays in Columbus on. . Thursday? Roslovic is from there, so if he gets a call up, Connor might get one game as well.

But Maurice doesn't really play his fourth line much or give them a chance to succeed by constantly playing Thorburn on there so most of us would rather they just play in the AHL, maybe get a 1 game call up at most.

God i'm jelly of the Leafs for having Babcock.

Yeah, Roslovic has earned a hometown game and a end of year check. They seem to be in the same position as Kapanen who we gave a chance during injuries.

Connor can come in next year and learn the ropes from bottom six up like Bill Ny did for the Leafs this year. May take half a season for Maurice to trust him defensively enough to play him with the big boys. But once he does you have a top six player going forward.

Called up !

Not surprised on Connor's call up. He can play the remaining 3 Jets games and still retain his rookie status next season. He has really earned it.

Looking fwd in seeing him the last 3 games. Could be a rookie of the year candidate next year.

They're likely not playing tonight. Hank put it best in our GDT

Kyle and Jack playing?

Nope. Coach needs to see what we've got in Thorburn and Tanev.

So, Kyle Connor finished his rookie pro season in the AHL by scoring the only goal in a 1-0 Moose win. He scored 43 points in 51 games, 24 of those being goals. Not bad stats. I haven't watched him personally this season, but by all accounts, he looked light and day better at the end of the season versus the start of his season. Here's hoping to a productive offseason of training.

He was clearly not ready at the start of the year. He's the front runner for the Calder next year IMO. Puljujarvi could surprise aswell
