Dude, your coverage is impressive. Many thanks. His production in Laval has been very impressive, I wasn't sure what to make of his game despite the little I got to see right after the trade. But his production of 23 points in 28 games so far shows he's adjusted well to the AHL but still tough to say how it will go for him in the NHL other then I fully expect him to be a solid full time NHLer.
how did he look in his 4 games in nhl?
It looks like he's off to a pretty good start in Montreal with 2 goals in 3 games. Just fluke goals or is he playing well?
He always had a good shot and it really feels like he is playing with confidence at the moment with no hesitation. Objectively, of course he can't keep scoring at a similar to current pace like that, just beating NHL goalies with clean shots, but he is an all-around effective player at the moment. It looks like he's off to a pretty good start in Montreal with 2 goals in 3 games. He probably already holds the title of the best Habs Swedish player since Mats Naslund. The competition is Petr Popovic, Niklas Sundstrom, Jonas Hoglund and Andreas Dackell, lol. Finally a solid swede on habs-roster!
He’s pre-Chara hit Pacioretty in terms of style. Don’t know if he ever has the same offensive top-end as Max. Pacioretty had some finesse that Heineman doesn’t have.He probably already holds the title of the best Habs Swedish player since Mats Naslund. Heineman's blend of power, speed, shot and solid all-around game has made him a key cog in the Habs December surge. I don't even know who to compare him to, few players play like this. He's like a big bowling ball out there. His shooting percentage is going to come back to earth at some point but he definitely looks like he will be a solid bottom 6 option for a long time.
I had so much expectations on Jacob De La Rose... sadly. He probably already holds the title of the best Habs Swedish player since Mats Naslund. The competition is Petr Popovic, Niklas Sundstrom, Jonas Hoglund and Andreas Dackell, lol.
