The problem with those cutoffs though is Rashevskiy is nearly exactly 6 months older. So yeah, technically 20 and under, realistically they aren't that much apart in age.
I wasn't really trying to compare him to Rashevsky as I was trying to place him generally amongst his peer group.
Even if you go to all drafted players under the age of 25 in KHL
1. Dmitri Rashevsky (WPG-21y, 41d): 29gp - 15g - 11a - 26pts (0.90ppg)
2. Arseni Gritsyuk (NJD-20y, 249d): 21gp - 9g - 5a - 14pts (0.67ppg)
3. Kirill Marchenko (CBJ-21y, 121d): 25gp - 9g - 5a - 14pts (0.56ppg)
4. Jakob Stenqvist (DAL-23y, 247d): 25gp - 4g - 9a - 13pts (0.52ppg)
5. Nikita Korostelev (TOR-24y, 284d): 24gp - 9g - 3a - 12pts (0.50ppg)
6. Artur Kayumov (CHI-23y, 278d): 25gp - 9g - 3a - 12pts (0.48ppg)
7. Ivan Chekhovich (SJS-22y, 319d): 27gp - 8g - 4a - 12pts (0.44ppg)
8. Nikolai Kovalenko (COL-22y, 33d): 21gp - 5g - 7a - 12pts (0.57ppg)
9. Vitali Abramov (OTT-23y, 195d): 30gp - 4g - 8a - 12pts (0.40ppg)
10. Artyom Galimov (ANA-22y, 72d): 29gp - 3g - 9a - 12pts (0.41ppg)
Really only Rashevsky above him...and he is the youngest of that group. Next U21 player would be Marat Khusnutdinov (MIN-19y, 125d): 27gp - 4g - 7a - 11pts (0.41ppg)
