I'm with Telus so I get all the Q games for free

Interesting how up and down Mantha is. I suppose that's better than him just being bad all the time like scouts were saying.

Really wouldn't take a lot to fix the bad parts of his game. Too bad he still has those brain cramps defensively. One day he'll have to learn.

Not sure I like all the extra physical stuff he's doing. Getting into it with too many players at times. Kid should just concentrate on his game.

I'm sure he feels some pressure to play that way now. Everybody wants him to be more intense and to play up to his frame. but it's probably not something that suits him. He just ends up taking stupid penalties.

He's showing some nice versatility. (Only) 3 goals in the last 5 games, but also 7 assists, and about half were primary assists. He's got a respectable playmaking side to him.

sure does, he'd have even more assists with better finish from his linemates, not a tunnel vision at all, keeps his head up and doesn't mind passing the puck either

... missed the 3rd goal by Val d'Or but Marcotte completes his hat trick, 3rd assist for Mantha today

Did you watch the games, or did you look at the stat sheet? cause I know they don't actually record the assists in primary secondary order.

All three of assists were primary last night though for sure.

Are you sure about that? Always looked to me like the one on the left was the first assist.

I'll keep an eye on the game tonight as Val d'Or plays the Remparts. Québec playing much better hockey lately.

Mantha showing his speed early going around MacIntyre

Should be interesting to see who sells the future for a guy like Mantha or William Carrier at Christmas this year. I'd say 1 of them goes to Halifax.

Doubt Halifax has enough assets for either, especially Carrier since CB won't want to trade him to their biggest rival, unless they send Fucale as a future. All their other best assets now are 19 year olds. I think if he is traded its to Rimouski or BC although Val D'or might hold on to him.
