Mantha currently leads the AHL with 5 goals in three games. 1st star in two games, 3rd star in the other. Here are his goals so far this season. I'd say he looks NHL ready. :)

As I've said before Mantha takes more time than most to adjust. He's finally figuring it out I hope so the next step is the NHL.

Another goal tonight. 6 in 4 games.

Really looking forward to seeing him in Detroit. I thought he played very well in his short NHL stint last season. I have a lot of confidence that he'll bring it together in Detroit. He's got too much going for him. I'd be thrilled if he turned out like Blake Wheeler.

He was good in the preseason and in call ups last year. He should get called up soon since AA isnt playing all that hot and Mantha is on a pretty big tear in the AHL. Hes been a late bloomer every league hes played in

This guy is playing on Detroit's first line and looking really good. He's skating, backchecking, and showing how crazy it is for a 6'5 guy to be both that fast AND that skilled. He's set Zetterberg up for a bunch of glorious chances. If he can start to finish them, Mantha is going to have a ton more points.

What's most impressive about this guy is his hockey IQ. Also, he's great controlling the puck in the corner with his long reach.

He had a really nice goal yesterday and is definitely starting to live up to the hype he had. Looking at his numbers he would probably be on pace for 25-30 goals and 50 points this year. Pretty good for his first real NHL action.

He also looks dangerous and useful when he isnt scoring which is probably the biggest improvement that he needed to make befor ehe could be a full time NHLer

Another goal tonight. As much as I love seeing him up and scoring, he needs to be in the AHL if we're going to have a better shot at a top 5 pick

If they want to lose more games they need to send Jared Coreau down.

He sure quieted the numerous "Mantha is a bust" posters who were out in force throughout 2015.

Another reminder that top prospects sometimes progress by leaps and bounds. Mantha had always been a late-bloomer as well. 22 years old and 16 points in 22 games (including 9 goals).

he looks to have made more of an effort to use his size and go into traffic which he was not doing in junior after getting drafted or year after going pro...the kid I always liked, but never used his size, always relied on his skating and big shot....I love watching him now because I see a guy that does not leave you saying why didn't he go to the net, or why didn't he use his size to power through, now you see him doing that and I think that is what is big to translating his game now. Just glad to see the kid realizing how to play his game and succeed at it.
