With Josefson out 8-10 weeks, Berglund will play 1C again, along with a bit of a shuffle. New first line is Strandberg - Berglund - Holtz.

Really? What jumps out at you?

A lot of things. His foot speed and overall skating is obviously not great, he's kind of like a fridge on the ice right now. I don't see it as a major issue though, I believe it can be fixed. The bigger issue I have is his lack of puck handling ability and hands, simple things like receiving a pass and quickly getting it under control can be very challenging for him, not to mention handling the puck in tight areas. People are going to disagree with me but I think his hands are very low end for a potential top 10 pick. I also have issues with him forcing plays, passing pucks off to teammates in the neutral zone who are completely covered, blind passes in the offensive zone once he gets under pressure etc. It's something you see from him pretty much every game. His goalscoring ability is extremely high end however, he's got great instincts and finishing ability. Not sure how far that will take him unless he improves a lot in other areas.

I can see some of that. So far this season, my main concern and what I've been watching him for one on one ability. He seems quite limited in that capacity, which is kind of a problem for a goal scoring winger. One would like a little more Kovalchuk to his game. So far, off the rush, he hasn't been much of a threat. On the other hand I've thought that his play was also pretty mature and responsible for a 17 year old. We'll see as the season unfolds, though.

Don’t agree at all, his puck handling and hands are absolutely elite in my eyes, and his foot speed can be amazing at times, but also poor. Very strange and inconsistent.

His first two goals today were pretty special. Don't think I've ever seen a player in J20 shoot the puck like that.

Suspension over, so he played in SuperElit today... And got a hattrick, of course.
At first I thought it was a bit weird that he would travel > 520 km for one J20 game on a Sunday  If he was suspended vs Timrå in J20 too, then I guess he was already with the team...
