Djurgården signed with another forward, Mattias Guter, during the break. So he's even further from a spot on the roster right now. Doubt he'll see anymore icetime in the SHL this season unless there is some injuries. Manuel Ågren is coming back from his sickness too but considering how long he's been out Holtz might be ahead of him

He should go to another team. Djurgården is too stacked.

I think he'll be a regular next season so he just need to have some patience. A couple of players will probably leave for North America and guys like Brodin and Lilja might be offered big money in Russia. Considering they made such a thing about his debut it was kind of mean to just give him 3 shifts though, can't really be considered a real debut imo

Rofl I should stop posting, he's an extra tonight it seems  Made a similiar mistake the last game when I said he, Grewe or Walli would be 13th forward and they deided to go with 8 defencemen instead. Guter is probably not match fit yet then

Hank the tank is missing too so maybe there is the injuries I was talking about

Got a minute of play in the second after nothing in the first. Then before the third Josefson, & J. Davidsson exited the game so he got some seconds on the PP, & more time(2:30 in total in the third), also got a SOG. Currently OT, but I have a hard time seeing Holtz get any OT time or a try in the shootout.

Also, feels like the reason many are down on him is that he's not flashy, nor selfish. He's more than ok with giving somebody other than himself the puck, which he really doesn't have to as he has the skill to make things happen by himself, he just chooses to do low risk plays instead. And yet, when he exits a game he usually has a few goals, and assists.

What I like about him is that he isn’t flashy. He has the simple play mastered, something that translates to the next level every time. He does it whatever role he’s been given. All that time being around pros when he was younger has got his head screwed on straight.

It is great for him to get to see how the big club are doing things on and off the ice, but if he only gets a few minutes a game, isnt it better for his developement if he play in allsvenskan? It is still Men he will play against and some of them on SHL level.

Practicing with the men more important than J20. It’s not like he consistently gets top 6 minutes playing there, either.

Yes Axelsson is not in the roster for todays game. Holtz will play with Bemström and Wirtanen. only 12 forwards too so should get some decent time on the ice

Played 11:35, had one shot that went wide, & a pretty bad giveaway. Other than that he played well, game ended 2-5, and he was on the ice for none of the goals.

Got 2 goals, & a shootout goal in SuperElit today in a 3-2 victory, now at 27 goals in 33 games(43 points total), and 11 goals in 12 Top 10 games(17 points total, which makes him the top scorer in Top 10). His regulation goals:

The goalie he scored on there is a 33 year old veteran who was backup goalie for Finland last WC. I have no idea why he was in net.

If I had to guess: Örebro goalies weren't able to play? And he's gotten 0 games in the SHL since December, so he's pretty available.

Also, looked up the U17 goal leaders in SuperElit, turns out with his 2 goals Holtz passed Daniel Sedin for the top spot. Sedin had 26 goals in 26 games. U18 record is held by Simon Hjalmarsson, who had 31 goals in 41 games in 06/07. Holtz has potentially 6 games left to get 4 goals to tie him.

Another goal today, which puts him tied with Sebastian Collberg's scoring lead in a U17 season at 44 points. Collberg played with 19 year old Victor Backman who ended the season with 71 points. Holtz is the top scorer on his team by 6 points.

Holtz: "Vill komma till VM med bra form"

Talks his season in SuperElit, his SHL debut, & U18 Worlds. Holtz, & Raymond keep on being really humble in interviews.

He doesn't mention any injury. But he got injured in the game against Frolunda in the 1st period and didn't play after that in that game. And he didn't play against Växjö on Sunday either from what I know. Hopefully not mentioning any injury means that it was only a minor one. We really need him in the U18 Worlds.
