The thing I absolutely love about Ray is that when the games get tougher or we need a response he steps up. Not a lot of guys his age do that. Health is always a huge factor for final numbers but I think he has 100pt potential soon if he can get close to a full 82 in a couple of seasons. If healthy, I think he gets close to Pavs 97 from his prime.

I really can't wait to see him get a chance at playoff hockey. Contract is already a steal.

That was a poorly worded sentence on my part. I mean I thought he was going to get close to the 97 Pav got in his prime this year. I'm leaning more low 90s this year. (prove me wrong & get more Ray!)

The jump to 100 is a feat though. There is something about that mark that is just tough to get over even though it seems like just a few points if you are already getting in the 90s. I think we might see it as soon as next year but he needs some healthy linemates.
