We did? We badly outplayed them. The Caps had like 2 high danger scoring chances the entire game and their one goal went off Mika's skate. Rangers were patient and didn't force things. They also put 4 behind Lindgren and hit the post once.

I like that Lavi continues to go with Rempe. Torts and Gallant would have chained him to the press box, because he’s a rookie that needs to learn and other “reasons.” But Lavi is smart enough to not disturb fate.

They play low event games. I would rather us take what they give instead of forcing things and turning the puck over. They were a little out of sync on the PP but other than that it was a good game.

Basically because of the fights and the circus around his first couple weeks it seems like fans and media alike think he’s John Scott 2.0 but lost in all of this is Rempe being a legitimately solid 4th liner with such a unique skill set and size set that he’s actually pretty underrated for what he is and what his potential is.

The defense has zero points and were probably the top reason we won the way we did. It really was a bizarre game. Never really felt in doubt.

Yea, up 2/3 at the end of the game, especially when they went up 3, no reason to risk injuries with the often sloppy ending of playoff games.

3rd line was great. KK had a post. Cuylle had that grade a chance that was robbed by Lindgren. The goals will come if they play like that.
