I'm definitely not going to go read the thread there because I could only care less about their opinions if I was dead, but we systematically dismantled the Caps. They had nothing.

Really good team defense and depth scoring from the fourth line. Rempe makes a difference. It was also cool seeing Kreider turn on the jets again. You sometimes forget how fast he is.

Nice, BORING win. I suppose I'd like rather have that than an exciting loss. We did NOT play great. But, this team KNOWS how to win. Next game (after rusty 1st game layoff) should be a LOT more in sync. At the very least, double the score for the good guys.

We blew the door off this team.
Should have been 6 or 7-1 and it wasn’t really our best showing tbh.
-Rempe getting the 1st goal of the playoffs couldn’t be scripted better imo
-bread/tro/laf was good. Glad they got the game winner. They deserved it.
-3rd line was solid. Keep playing well. That line will be critical in a long series down the line.
-shesty was laser focused
-goodie/vesey were good. Goodrow continues to add to his playoff resume
- KAM-Schneider should be a nightmare pairing for teams for years to come.. those big boys can skate/defend and they swallow a lot of ice. Imo, trading either 1 is not an option
-garden noise level when Rempe scored was amazing

The long time in between games def hurt the teams rhythm. Not as crisp on the PP and some of their passing plays, but we’ll get there.
All and all this should go 4-5 games. Lindgren might steal 1 in Washington, but we should sweep tbh

I was yelling at my TV like an idiot because of it. Stupid linesmen think they're supposed to fake guys out. Just drop the puck. Officials these days all think the games revolve around them. Nobody knows their names or cares. People don't pay to watch linesmen fake guys out and kick them out of the circle and waste all our time.

The crowd should throw things at them next time.
