Brown is a Kings legend. Actually quite underrated throughout the NHL during his prime. That time is over and he's a shell of that player -- which happens and is expected. The problem right now is not Brown, it's TM for playing Brown like a star as opposed to utilizing the gritty vet properly at this stage of his career. Getting top line work, minutes, 1st line PP, constant 3-on-3 time, etc. Brown should be a 3rd/4th liner and his minutes used judiciously for fresh legs and that net presence / nuisance.

for a 5-6 year stretch, the only players getting 20 goals, 50 points, and 200 hits were Brown and Ovechkin. Ladd did it once or twice as well. But he was a unique player and yeah completely underrated as we can see from some of the unsupportable tripe passing as opinions in here. I haven't checked to see if anyone else joined that club but I could imagine someone like Benn doing it.
