Can you elaborate further on this and maybe provide some specific examples?
I've listened to a decent amount of Hancock's theories and the guy's whole M.O. is he doesn't debate actual professionals in the field because they're close-minded and pushing a narrative. Which basically eliminates him from authoritative criticism and, in my opinion, makes what he says exploitive conjecture.
I just find the notion that there's this cabal centered around the Egyptians to be absurd and that some author, who isn't a studied expert in the field, knows something that literal centuries of scientific researchers were not able to figure out.
In regards to main stream science being a business, here are 2 fairly simple examples which are relative to today.
There's only 2 genders, main stream science or media denies this and pushes the idea that it is something that can be changed or that there are numerous genders. Reason ? Surgeries cost thousands of dollars and the people who get them, are stuck on meds for the rest of their life. Big pharma consumers for the rest of their life.
Do you believe their science that chemical castration + using exogenous hormones can change someones gender ? No it doesn't everyone and their neighbor knows this, but it's being pushed as a science. Why ? Massive amounts of money to be made through selling drugs + surgeries.
The covid situation, I was personally effected as my father passed away from it plus my business got shut down. We now know, it was our tax dollars that was sent to big pharma for "research" we funded the development of the vaccine, our own tax dollars were then once again sent to purchase said vaccine, from the manufacturers like Pfizer/Moderna, who solid the vaccine at an approximately 2000% profit.
So we paid for the creation of it, then we paid big pharma to receive it. We funded it, they profited it from it. Billionaires like Gates were heavily pushing for the vaccine and told us it prevents transmission, we now know that was false. A day before Gates announced that the vaccine doesn't work effectively, he dumped all his Pfizer stock which he was buying up while telling the public that it works (which he profited billions from)
We have actual emails from the US government which was threatening big social media platforms like Twitter/Facebook, to censor and silence anything that critiqued covid/vaccine or any legitimate doctor who was giving advice on what foods to eat that could help fight off covid infections naturally.
These drug companies also finance colleges/universities teaching Med.
That is how mainstream "science" is a billion dollar business, I wasn't referring to archaeology how the poster above me is suggesting, I was very sure to say "science" but clearly some people don't care to read before they talk.
So these are the so called scientists/institutes he and many other people trust, it's a shame.
Now I don't know how or when the ancients built older structures, but I do know that if it was discovered, it would make several industries completely obsolete. If there was a way like how Nikola Tesla was suggesting and studying, free energy transmitted through the air, what happens to big oil companies or energy providers ? If you introduce a new product, a more efficient product, which costs a fraction of the price or might not cost anything at all, you completely destroy their "empires" or industry. When you have gigantic companies that profit heavily off of people relying on their product, guess what their main interest is going to be ? To make sure they protect their product, if oil, or machinery or whatever it is becomes obsolete, their asset value becomes nearly 0.
A little extra, all of Nikola Tesla's models where he was able to generate electricity through earths magnetic field, results in a pyramid shape, all of his work was seized by the US government.
As for Hancock and archaeology he asks a lot of good questions, he's not saying that Mayans or Egyptians built Pyramids using X method, he simply challenges the mainstream narrative. Like how they have shown that the weathering on the Sphinx is caused by water erosion, not wind. Last time it rained in that region, that heavily, was approximately 12000 years ago, yet mainstream archaeology says the Pyramids and Sphinx are only 4000 ish years old. Obviously the evidence shows that, that isn't true. Plus the fact that there are no records, oral or written that mention who built them and how.
Again Hancock isn't saying that he knows exactly how old the pyramids are or how they are created, he simply presents evidence that proves that the mainstream narrative about how old they are is completely false. His main theory is that of the Younger Dryas, a cataclysmic event which wiped out a large chunk of life and human life on our planet. There's evidence of it all over the globe, different continents.
There are several ancient sites he refers to which all have a very sophisticated way of building structures, many we can't even replicate today. But the mainstream archaeology is suggesting they were simply hunter/gatherers, but somehow they were able to create massive monuments clearly demonstrating a high understanding of math/science and it's supposed to just be a coincidence ? I don't buy it.
Let's take the Mayan pyramid chichen itza for example, I visited it, it's a massive structure which is fully aligned with the cardinal directions. However at the top of the pyramid, there is a temple which is slightly offset from North/South etc. We know know, that the temple isn't "offset" rather the temple is facing True magnetic North/East/West/South, but we're supposed to believe that it is just a coincidence and also that these people built the structure as simple hunter gatherers ? They also have numerous little temples and shrines which line up with the sun on both Equinoxes exactly, but we are supposed to believe they were just hunter gatherers living in jungles/forests that accidentally made these advanced structures that all coincidentally seem to be aligned with the sun/moon and objects in space. But forest people, with no understanding of math or the universe accidentally built all these structures to coincidentally line up with celestial objects and events.
The giza pyramid is even more interesting, that one would be way too much for me to try and explain on text here. All I'm saying is, it's worth reading/watching, as he raises some very good questions.
Not sure why dude above me is so triggered lol
