I think I'm the only one that feels bad for this guy. Comes to the kings and ends his career hope he plays one more year and gets a cup. Absolute garbage he wasn't one of the 100 greatest.

We need him. He creates an identity even at his age. Even tho Vinny played a more critical position, and played it well for us, I'll be a little more sad if we aren't able to retain him (more so than I was that we weren't able to retain Vinny) with a one year deal. Tho, I highly doubt it happens and would be mildly shocked if we did.

No, Kings need to get younger and Iggy would only be blocking playing time for a youngster.

I always thought the Kings were a better team when they were mad.
I'd Tkachuk had not talked trash about Doughty and just taken his beating tonight the Flames might have won

Victory, we have Victory!

If Iginla chooses to come back next year to the NHL you have to figure it will only be to a contender.

Kings can argue they could be contenders. Healthy Quick, scoring should rebound, defense more mature and Ig-in-LA tee shirts

So true at 39 stood up for Kopi after Engelland rubbed him out behind the net and pasted Engellands face too might I add. My goodness wish we had a stud like Iginla in his prime. Last of the True great Powerforwards. Would love to have him back but I think he either will retire or sign with Chicago(Just because they're always good). But Man love his heart.

Indeed, brother.

My god, if they could've played like this with any finish we're a playoff team. Too bad they waited until the season was over.

Tkachuk woke them up too late. Should've happened a week and a half ago when he did what he did to Doughty.

If only the games in 2016 didn't count... You can look strictly at points if you want, but he's been pretty bad all over the ice pretty much all year.

Must've watched last night's game with his eyes closed, or not tuned in at all. It was one of Kopitar's worst games of the season, but I guess cherry picking stats will make some people feel better about this crappy season.

And despite this being an unsalvageable season, the win tonight was very gratifying. The Flames, their fans and their media can go get stuffed.

So much

Love feeding the Flames their lunch, and love that all the **** talk by Tkachuk found himself completely out of his league trying so hard to make an impact...he's better when he doesn't do that. He made himself 2012 Kesler tonight. In his own head due to the press. Mark Messier he is not.

I'd say it was a tossup between who was more embarrassing, Gaudreau, Stajan, Tkachuk, or the Calgary media and blogosphere.

Guess I've become so apathetic to this team's season I didn't even realize there was anything going on with the Calgary media.

They've been praising Tkachuk, and Craig Button was happy that Doughty got elbowed. The same Craig Button who thought the Kings lost on the Carter for Johnson trade.
