This is one game that I dread. Kings have the team to pounce on our weaknesses.

Let's hope Price is up to the task of facing 40+ shots again.

If this game was in L.A. fine but when the game is in MTL they normally play fairly even games.

I don't get this move, Pateryn has played pretty well. The guy must be so pissed about being here, the last couple of years he's been so patient and now that he is playing pretty well he still get's scratched. Unless they're trying to showcase someone, there shouldn't be any reason for this move.

While I don't necessarily agree with the benching, the last couple games have been rough for Pateryn and after being benched for the second half of the 3rd period, I can't say I'm overly surprised that he'll have to watch this game. While he is a big defenceman and could help against a big physical team, he hasn't used his physicality much of late and may just need a quick reminder of what got him here in the first place.

People are too sensitive. Kaepernick was threatened and screamed at because he put one knee down during the national anthem. Yet, we live in countries where freedom of expression exists.

I don't really care about national anthems.

Freedom of speech is also not liking the fact that a QB took a knee during the anthem....stand the **** up man and pay your respects.

This is jumping ahead a little bit, but who do you think starts on Saturday? Do you play Price against the Wings and then Montoya gets the start on Sunday vs Chicago? Or the other way around?

I think you got it right with price vs Detroit and Monty vs the hawks. It seems to me that price tends to get the home game of b2b situations under MT.

As for Montoya, this means he gets thrown right back in the fire in a difficult building. It should be interesting to see how he responds.

Don't have a good feeling about this game. The Habs are having problems generating shots and have been giving up tons. I expect the Kings to completely shutdown the Habs offense tonight like they've been doing to teams lately and Price will face an onslaught of shots.

It's gonna be a real test for the Habs tonight against a bigger Kings team that will likely punish them with their size. Hopefully Price can keep the Habs in this game and steal 2 points.

Listening to McGuire on 690 and the Habs have only scored 5 first period goals this season. It's just like a couple years ago when they couldn't score in the 1st period to save their lives. How is MT preparing these guys to start games?

Price gets the home games because people pay a lot of money to go see the Habs and Price in particular.

Max is going to pout that is little friend is out,

He should be pissed that he's been invisible and couldn't help DD produce to keep his little BFF in the lineup.

Anyway it seems Max has been pouting and doesn't give a **** on the ice going back to last season and it's still the same this season thus far. Something has definitely been off with Pacioretty since being named Captain though.

Apparantly its the entire NHL having trouble scoring in the 1st period

really not too concerned about this

its 3rd period scoring that matters most to me
