Peter Budaj has not allowed a goal in 2 1/2 games now.

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Radulov
Ghetto-Pleks-Gallagher
Byron-Danault-Shaw

Hoping for a win in a close game but, I have a bad feeling our perfect home record is about to be shattered. Hope I'm wrong.

Well usually the Habs play well against the good teams. I mean LA is considered top tier... then again they might get complacent seeing that Budaj is in nets, and get bit on the arse!

Well when you play a very staunch defensive game and allow roughly 20 shots a game... you too would get shutouts!!
Kings are well structured but Budaj played very well in the AHL last year as well(9 shutouts).

Is Gilbert's suspension over yet?

Is DD really not playing? Or is this a pipe dream line-up?

We'll probably be outshot 50-25 and lose 3-2 in OT.

It would be great if both Ghetto and Carr played. I would love to see either one of those guys with Chucky/Radu.

Kings/habs games are something I look forward to over the years and I'm not quite sure why. It might have something to do with 1993 and the whole Gretzky scene.

Anyways, it should be a good test for the club. While the habs are currently in poor form, I always hold hope that the next game will be different. A good showing against a systematic team like LA can go a long way in getting things back on track.

And before somebody chimes in about the 11-1-1 record, I'm well aware of it, but the only thing that record means to me right now is that the habs have built a nice buffer while they try to figure things out.

Is this a joke?

The way he wrote it it's not true !

What he brought up is the standings for the average of shots per game played .

Should have mentioned it atleast...

Semantics, point is we are likely to get outshot 50-15 if trends continue

I'm really interested to see if

a) Oompa is actually scratched
b) Ice time for Pacs on the '3rd' line, my guess 17+

To be fair why wouldn't you use the average?

Looking at a total when teams play different amounts of games would kind of be inaccurate.

kings lineup isn't that impressive to me.. Purcell and King in their top 6 yikes.. Their d core is decent though.

I have a good feeling about this one

4-1 habs

Radulov
Weber
Pacioretty x 2

i made my doodgame predictions on this one: habs by 1 in overtime.. it won't be an easy one since the kings are a good team.. but we'll see!
