Are you paying attention to his play? How am I wrong? He's letting his team down by not performing up to his standards and has been the most disappointing player on the roster. And I never, ever said they should even consider trading him, but he really shouldn't be given any special treatment either. His play is hurting the team.

I he the only one? Are there 20 kopitars one this team.:shakehead

Let's be real, hate on whatever specific player you want but it's the collection of vets outside Doughty that's letting this team down RIGHT NOW. let's also be real and know that DL isn't going to tank this season till the bitter end after that winning streak especially now that the sekera move was made.

Because Kopitar was Gaborik's assist machine. You guys really need to look at his whole game and stop focusing on the fantasy points.

It's not fantasy points. He's got 2 goals on the road this year, 1 at ES. Stoll has 2 goals on the road this year. He's been completely ineffective in the offensive zone. His whole game this year isn't good. He had 29 goals last year, 12 this year. 6 at ES. A career low for shots per game.

I guess if Gaborik was scoring 40 goals this year, Kopitar could just never shoot again, but that's not the case.

I want McNabb playing in regehrs spot for the forseeable future. Doughty muzzin / Mcnabb sekera / greene Martinez when he's back

This team is just a disaster up front, other than two hot streaks that were the result of hot play from the Carter line they have done nothing all year offensively.

Nothing personal against any of the guys but it will be nice to move on from Williams, Richards and Stoll and insert some new and hungrier blood. Amazing how in a matter of 2 years the Kings went from having arguably the best group of centers in the league to the current joke they have. The Kings are not built to win without great center play.

Dude has two goals on the road this year. I'm as much of a Kopitar mark as anyone, but it's time to call a spade a spade. His downward trend in play, which actually started all the way back in the 2013 playoffs, is incredibly alarming.

Your top center can't just go MIA for months on end. That's not acceptable.

Did you overslept last year playoff? Playoffs leader by points. Shut down Toews. He and Gaborik got us out of the first round and so on and a few months later he is a new whipping boy.:shakehead

No one is playing well on the road this year and he's been down since 2013? You don't say that if he wins the Selke and Conn Smythe. Lot of recency bias going on here. And people like you disappear when he has a good game because you got jack **** to talk about but if he has a bad game, here you guys are pulling your pants down and jerking off to it.

People like me? You take any criticism of Kopitar as if we're shouting at your first born son. Take it easy for ****'s sake.

Outside of a freakish week in which he was like 3.00 PPG, Kopitar has had an abysmal season. This is a fact. We're allowed to talk about it.

So who takes his spot? You didn't answer the question. Carter? Stoll? Lewis? Andreoff? Shore? Richards?

Obviously Carter would be the de facto #1, he's been the most consistent performer all season long. And I'd bump Lewis up to the second line C spot Or even give Shore a bump in ice time until Kopitar pulls his head out of his ass.

Then go bump the Kopitar thread.

Problem is that's just flat out untrue, so no, you can't.

He's been inconsistent at best but he's still right about his career pace after that awful start.

You can't just take out a chunk of production because it's convenient. All scorers are streaky and have fluky stats, like girouxs no ES goals at hime. Splits are more often than not coincidental.

So you have Lewis centering King and Toffoli?

I'd change lines around, Gaborik and Toffoli with Carter, King and Brown centered by Lewis (or Shore), then have either Kopitar or Stoll with Clifford and Williams and the holdovers with Nolan.

Clearly no line is clicking right now other than when Carter's line gets going.

Carter is the de facto number one because teams game plan Aroubd kopi. Remove him and let's see what happens.

Take the kopitar macro-discussion to the Kopi thread from here on out. This is the GDT.

Why not just draw names out of a hat while you're at it. lol But you did answer the question. Thank you for that.
