Kopitar is -2, was also on for the PP goal. 0 SOG. Great job, jabroni.

Meh, I can't get angry at him anymore since he's obviously having a huge disappointing season. I just know we can't rely on him now.

Carter has been our top center all season long even though he has had his fair share of off nights, but he's been the most consistent.

Que the Kopitar haters and Kopitar trade comments!

Who cares?? Jeez no wonder the Jets board is feeling so proud of themselves right now! You guys act like this is a game 7.

If it was then at least it would be over.

Ok little dramatic but winning 8 got our hopes up. Now every game since then has gotten worse.
Kings make a trade we all think great.
Our PK gets back on track but now our 5 on 5 has gone to heck.
Kings have a lot of road games left, need to win a few of them:rant:

Byfuglien and Ladd are big. Myers is a big teddy bear.

Kings look horrible right now, but it's still not April. I have full confidence that the Jets would lose their minds in a playoff series versus the Kings. The only thing that is actually big about them is the hole in their net.

They definitely aren't soft, but they're no LA or STL.
only a handful of their guys are under 6'2. They are just as physical as St. Louis and probably are a bit more physical than them.

I still can't wrap my head around how invisible Kopitar has been all season. Selke smooth my ass.

Maybe more crazy than the 0-3 comeback, or the 3 Game 7 wins on the road, is that the Kings won the Cup without Kopitar scoring a goal after Game 7 against Anaheim. How they outscored Chicago with 0 goals from #11, that I can't wrap my head around.

Agree on Dean scrapping the season.I'm ok with that.I got to see two cups in three years in my 30 plus years following.

You don't need to "scrap" the season. However, you listen to offers and if there is something palatable that comes up on one of your players you consider a deal.

Yes, we are on the verge of a 3 game losing street but there is still a good chance at a playoff spot. Still hockey to be played but our guys have to get it cranked up pronto.

Because Kopitar was Gaborik's assist machine. You guys really need to look at his whole game and stop focusing on the fantasy points.

I warned you guys that Kopi was turning into a big, soft European center ala Jozef Stumpel. There's no extra gear in his game.

Pretty apt comparison at this point. I always thought Kopitar could have a career akin to Sundin, but it's pretty clear Stumpel is the direction he's trending.

I'm being a drama queen? You're calling Kopitar Stumpel.

Are you paying attention to his play? How am I wrong? He's letting his team down by not performing up to his standards and has been the most disappointing player on the roster. And I never, ever said they should even consider trading him, but he really shouldn't be given any special treatment either. His play is hurting the team.

How high can we get in the draft at this point? **** that 8 game winning streak, now we have to suck even harder.

Okay, Coach Cocoa.. Let's do this. What do you do with Anze Kopitar right now?

Keep in mind that you have to fill the hole. I want a real answer. Not just "Sit Kopitar" because someone else has to play his minutes.

Dude has two goals on the road this year. I'm as much of a Kopitar mark as anyone, but it's time to call a spade a spade. His downward trend in play, which actually started all the way back in the 2013 playoffs, is incredibly alarming.

Your top center can't just go MIA for months on end. That's not acceptable.

No one is playing well on the road this year and he's been down since 2013? You don't say that if he wins the Selke and Conn Smythe. Lot of recency bias going on here. And people like you disappear when he has a good game because you got jack **** to talk about but if he has a bad game, here you guys are pulling your pants down and jerking off to it.

Put him with grinders. Make him take more responsibility by playing with less talented teammates and see how he responds. Which is exactly what they did with Mike Richards.
