Pretty sure the Hurricanes were the last team to win the cup then miss the playoffs

Props to Clifford for showing some hustle.

Let's at least break the shutout.

Not going to happen. Than we'll hear the same old, "We need to generate some offense, get to the dirty areas. We need to pick up some wins in a hurry.", only to see them come out with the same lacklustre effort again against the Panthers.

We shouldn't be noticing Clifford this game. Where the hell is Kopitar, Brown, Carter, Williams, Gaborik, ect. They are the "core", right? Then show some ****ing leadership. When fringe players like Nolan and Clifford are the only ones you notice on the ice, you're in big trouble.

I actually think the Kings will beat the Panthers, it will be a full 60 minute effort.

The Kings are simply inconsistent. So they are due for a WTH was that game.

Looking at Dustin Brown's contract is a bit terrifying. How much worse is he going to get? Lombardi has to think about that.

Won't matter, you can't trade that contract(no one will take it), and his buyout is worse than Richards.

Brown is due over 20+ million the next three years. That Dead Cap space is just LARGE.

You have to win some games in order to be up and down/inconsistent. Chicago and Vancouver are our most recent wins? Is that right? That's all I can remember.

How does this team always have scoring problem when we seemingly add scoring depth every trade deadline?

16 goals in 10 road games against the East. Nobody with more than 2, and one of them with 2 is in the AHL.
