Kings are off until next Wednesday when they play the Hawks. That's a nice post All-Star break test. Then they're off to a 5-game road trip, closing out January in Boston, then to Washington, Florida, Tampa and Columbus.

There are no easy points from here on out.

if we don't improve then teams like Dallas , Colorado and Minnesota could pass us (could be only Arizona and Edmonton below us in the west)

Oh I don't think it's that bad yet. If the Kings are at the same spot say, with 15 games left ?

Then that's probably a good bet to start talking about draft position. Lombardi still has a trade deadline he can try and change some things up.
