So it’s no longer the HOUSE OF GREEN it’s now the “house of white”? What genius thought that up? I will continue to wear my green Knights jerseys during the playoffs like usual.

Maybe it's just me but BM47 hasnt been the same player the last 20 games or so. Really disappointing.

Seriously though, a meaningless game.
As for the Sim fight...
Sim couldn't initiate any fights without getting suspended for exceeding the limit. He was pissed off because he was jumped when he had his gloves on and was bending over to pick up his stick.
I think the Sean Furtaro interview with Bruz in the first intermission was one of the best I've seen. While interviewing Henry, his brother calls in (FaceTime) from Calgary, and Sean interviews them both with the bros chirping each other.

Sick of hearing Parsons is the best goalie in the league. Not even the 2nd best goalie in his division.
Furfaro’s the best one going in the league with the creativity he brings to the gig… OHL’s Gene Principe with the bits he puts together.
Really has done a great job promoting the team to the community with a weekly show he does too on the local Rogers station.

Elliott doesn’t deserve goalie of the year in my opinion, simply because he hasn’t played enough games. If he had his stats after 45/50 games, then there’s a conversation. The award should go to Parsons, but I don’t think he’s the best goalie. He’s a really good goalie, on a good team. George is the best goalie in the league, just doesn’t have the benefit of a good team.

Kudos to these guys. Absolute warriors. Next year big roles incoming for them all. Very happy with their development. Especially Woolley who has really turned out to be a nice Defender. Uses his size and skating ability well.

So is everyone on board with Austin Elliott being the main guy come playoffs? I’d give Medvedev a game per series if we are up 3-0 in a series, but other than that, Elliott is our guy.
Medsy is gonna be a great goalie, but he does have difficulty with playing top teams (with a good offense) like Kitchener, Windsor and Saginaw. He’ll be fine next year, he just still needs to grow his game so he’ll get to being a dominant goalie against top teams, but this year it ain’t it.

from an outsider's perspective it should be Elliott's until he loses the job. Very capable backup in Medvedev but each time I've seen him against Kitchener he's let in a softie and rebound control suspect. Elliott is your go to, as he should be taking an OA spot.

Absolutely, Barkey and Monty just seemed to click. Although the same can be said about anyone that plays with Barkey, he just makes everyone else better.

George is the best goalie in the league and it is not even close. All 20 GM's and all 20 coaches would pick him to be there goalie in a one game elimination game.
The fact that they even have a playoff chance is 100% because of Carter, kid has carried that team. Having a .907 while sporting 3.44 is crazy. Without going through the exercise I would hazard to guess that there is no other goalies in the past 10 years who would have an above .900 if there GAA is about 2.75.

No chance you give a guy a charity start if you are up 3-0...eliminate they other team and rest, no point in giving the other team any motivation. Anything can happen.

1 - White out is a terrible idea, and done by everyone. Just like Chelsea Dagger, Sweet Caroline and Country Roads, Knights can't resist following someone else's gimmick.
2 - Would love to see McNeil take on Sim again in the playoffs without the fight rule. Won't turn out nearly as well. What a coward move.
3 - crease should be all Stone Cold's in the playoffs. No need to get cute, Elliott is clearly the better goalie right now
4 - Bring back the Monty-Barkey-O'Reilly line for the playoffs. It was a dominant #1 line, giving us 2 with Cowan-Julien-Haltunnen. Nicholl-Nurmi-Sim and Van Gorp-Van Bommel-Read/Boulton/Aboflan to round it out.
