London Knights 2024-25 Season Thread, Part VI

Sounds like a playoff lineup for tomorrow night’s game vs Windsor according to Coach Dylan Hunter on the Knightshift pod.

After the game in Branford I finally finished all 20 rinks again and I have to say even for a small team store Branford had a pretty good variety of team swag and the rink reminds me of the old London Gardens. But the best team store in the league IMHO is Kitchener it’s a huge store with a nice hall of fame area too.

Did we ever luck out, Jussi rested Stark.

Seriously though, a meaningless game.
As for the Sim fight...
Sim couldn't initiate any fights without getting suspended for exceeding the limit. He was pissed off because he was jumped when he had his gloves on and was bending over to pick up his stick.
I think the Sean Furtaro interview with Bruz in the first intermission was one of the best I've seen. While interviewing Henry, his brother calls in (FaceTime) from Calgary, and Sean interviews them both with the bros chirping each other.
That's why that fight quota is garbage. It makes players extremely vulnerable.

Really a meaningless game, a scrimmage more than anything else. A 112 point season though doesn't happen very often. Halltunen hits the 20 goal mark. If Van Gorp scores in Erie, the Knights will have 8 20 goal scorers.
Speaking of game 68, let's see...who should make the trip to Erie.
Medvedev (starts)
Wilson (backup since Nats not playing Sunday)

Defence:
Fagan
Spencer
Fimis
Brusz
Allen

Forwards:
Boulton
Gerber
Van Bommel
Read
Hawery ?
Van Gorp (go get number 20)
Nichol
Aboflan ? still injured?
Hickson, Nats ?
Julien
Nurmi
Montgomery

Hurry up, Friday...so it's OS or Sarnia.
