Cowan is not listed in the roster for tonight's game. I didn't see where he could have gotten injured last night. I noticed he didn't play the 3rd period though.
Before there ever were any records, there were none, nothing is written in their policies stating a new record can not be produce that will extend over two or more seasons. 62 games and counting over two seasons should be recognized by the league, and likely will over timesT
The league has already said it is not recognizing the streak over two seasons, so as far as they are concerned the streak is not at 62. It's fun to watch and compare to Gilmour and Lemieux but as far as the record books go, the streak is not 62. Nonetheless, quite the achievement and shows the level of consistency Easton Cowan brings. Analogy ... the Tiger Slam is a great achievement but it is not the Grand Slam
I still see the assist.I guess Cowan didn't get assist Tuesday night according to video, come on Knights make right ask for review. Like that's going to happen, we all know he didn't now LOL
He’s probably has hurt feelings by the people doubting his streak lolCowan is not listed in the roster for tonight's game. I didn't see where he could have gotten injured last night. I noticed he didn't play the 3rd period though.
I don't get what's funny Wolvesfan? Sure the penalty was warranted but he dove down like he was shot.So we're no longer calling embellishment anymore. Sure Fagan slashed him but come on.
Injured? Not sure, but all that matters is that he is healthy for the playoffsHey I missed something. Where is Easton ??

And his all-time NHL record of 2857 total points spans over 20 years. The league can create records whenever they want. This is getting old. Except Iron Man streaks, all of the official consecutive streaks are in one season. Gretzky holds the NHL record of 51. I believe his streak counting two seasons was 60+

Good to hear. Good useful D. Lost here in the numbers gameFor those interested, Alec Leonard has been a real gem for the Attack . But you already know that .
His +- has improved in OS, the significance is he's playing on the #10 team in the conference . He logs a lot of minutes against the league's top scorers.
He's a Swiss army knife .
A great acquisition, we are glad to have him .
Don't really know what this post is all about, just carry onBut the ‘consecutive’ streak stands. I believe DiMaggio and Gretzky accomplished their streaks iin consecutively scheduled games; and, Lemueux’s ended when he missed time with a back issue.
Cowan’s does not count playoffs or pre-season or missed games while in NHL or at WJC; and does not take into account a summer of rest.
Consecutive is a really loose term used in Cowan’s streak.
Truly liked Leonard, a true team man full of energy, I, for one, was really happy for him when he went to Owen SoundFor those interested, Alec Leonard has been a real gem for the Attack . But you already know that .
