The league has already said it is not recognizing the streak over two seasons, so as far as they are concerned the streak is not at 62. It's fun to watch and compare to Gilmour and Lemieux but as far as the record books go, the streak is not 62. Nonetheless, quite the achievement and shows the level of consistency Easton Cowan brings. Analogy ... the Tiger Slam is a great achievement but it is not the Grand Slam
Before there ever were any records, there were none, nothing is written in their policies stating a new record can not be produce that will extend over two or more seasons. 62 games and counting over two seasons should be recognized by the league, and likely will over times

I guess Cowan didn't get assist Tuesday night according to video, come on Knights make right ask for review. Like that's going to happen, we all know he didn't now LOL
I still see the assist.

I'm wondering if Cowan hasn't been playing hurt. Just hasn't been his dominating self since his return from the World Juniors. I'd say he's our 3rd best forward at the moment behind Barkey and Montgomery. I have no doubt he'll return to form but but who knows when. If he is injured, you don't want to throw him to the 'wolves'.
Halltunen needs to get going. Our PP not looking like the league's best. No Bumper Bonk goals, no Halltunen one-timers.

4th goal tonight showed alot about team play.
Even the punching bag for some here made a smart decision leading to a goal.
Watch the play from it's start behind the LK goal line and it exemplifies the coaching, attention to detail n execution by players.
(Good puck recovery, easy outlet, speed thru the blues, D supporting the initial attack, win board battles, 3rd F stay above the puck......well played)

5-2 win over the Wolves

After the Knights took the 4-2 lead at the end of the second. Sudbury came out flat to start the third.
Again, London played with a lot of energy at a speedy pace throughout the game, probably because of no power plays.
No Easton Cowan tonight, and to rise up to the occasion, none others than Mr. Spark-Plug himself (Van Gorp).
Van Bommel played a heavier game than he actually is, if only they can get Nicholl to shoot more, he could have had 2 or 3
Julien may have found his game back tonight, he skated well and Medvedev as usual, was sharp and awake in his crease.
They have lost a puck somewhere in that old building, or it found a hole in the roof, no one seemed to know where it went. That was strange. Can the Knight make it three for three on this weekend trip ?
