I am very sure you do.
Call Cowan’s streak regular season games he played in with at least a point. (best stretch of NHL regular season games played with at least a point for Gretzky over multiple seasons is 60+)
Do not call it a consecutive game point scoring streak. (Official NHL record is 51 games 1983-84)

Pretty much exactly what I said, create a set of parameters for a different record if that is wanted. Cowan has indeed been remarkable, and deserves recognition.
It’s just not the same as Lemieux playing and recording a point in 61 consecutive scheduled games. He did not miss a game for any reason, and did not have a summer break to refresh.

Pts scored in the 50s aren't the same as ponts sored in the 80s and neither are the same as points scored in the 2000s. SOs in the 40s aren't the same as in the 80s..... It's just not the same game, but their are no parameters, all sportssame thing
I get what your saying, I just think the whole convo is silly. Who really cares. Kid has done something cool.

Barkey was in the original lineup, but they posted just before warm up started, he was a late scratch.

Didn’t see anything Friday, which would make him miss? Sick maybe?

I know the Knights leads the league in power plays, they could be that much better still, with a little more hustling in them. How I hate watching a slow motion power play, and it is even worse live as it ended up in our net. No problem with hustling with their penalty kills thought, great job there.

They were all earned penalties, a couple were of the selfish kinds too

Horrible period. Undisciplined. Going through the motions. Sure miss Barkey. Without 86, and with the exception of Sim, no one is playing with any heart.
