London Knights 2024-25 Season Thread, Part IV

Can't we just add "cash considerations" to a trade proposal?
Musty OR Luchanko for player x, draft picks, AND 'cash considerations'. lol!

Alligator arms.........tough to grab that cash outta pocket for some of those rural gents ;)

Nope cash considerations have already been worked out.
Thought that was a Windsor thing ;) Or at least getting caught was.

Well does London add between now and tomorrow?

Does Sam McCue coming into play now that Flint is maybe not able to get him to report?

Does London finally add Jett Luchanko?

Will Flint move him on the cheap instead of nothing? Hope he reports?
Is Flints butt to hurt they'd rather let him sit or explore other leagues?
No idea why teams dont confirm its all good pre trade, before going public, especially since it involves teenagers and BEFORE announcing it ( probly a reason somewhere and I can think of a few ideas why maybe someone thinks its smart but i dont agree) it's a bad look all around for a pre adult league.

London won't be the only team sniffing around the chance to get McCue.

No, and rightfully so but hopefully the past connection carries wieght in the McC camp. The kid, family or advisors obviously have a problem standing up and excersing potential leverage

Other teams will want McCue and Flint will want a body or two that can contribute now after losing their first round pick in this mess. McCue would be an upgrade on a number of London forwards, so that’s the logic to both sides, imo. Feel for the Flint fans.

Just curious, what is the problem?
They traded their first round pick from THIS YEAR for a player who won't report a second and two thirds.. So the problem is a 2nd and 2 3rds isn't much for the sixth overall pick.

The problem compounds if the problem they created isn't dealt with expediently. Gotta get the player somewhere suitable and cut your losses now.

Ahhh okay.

That's a McPharlan problem.

I thought you were pointing at a "Flint" problem from the past.

Different context. Agree with on the McPharlan problem.

I for one, am shocked Kingston moved on from Lalonde to get Schenkel. It’s an upgrade for sure, just surprised they did it. Kingston is a player now. I’d put it in order as Barrie, Kingston, Oshawa, Brampton and then some pretenders like Niagara and Brantford. Hope the East destroys each other.
