If we trade for mews, Spencer and/ or fagan should or would have to be traded. Fagan needs ice time for development
Spencer seems to be here to stay. Same with Fimis. I think Fagen would be in that package. He could use more ice time…. Mews is a great two way D. London would be lucky to add that type of a talented D who would return next year.

There's been rumors of him going to the NCAA but I can't see that happening if he got traded here. He'd get to play with his brother etc

Whatever the Hunters decide will be to put us in the best position moving forward

You aren’t getting Mews for spare parts, lads. So, whatever this pipe dream is, you should be ashamed for even thinking it.
Just saw the insider on X mention it…. Not sure if it’s true or on the table

We do not need any other players. London Knights advantage when it comes to playoffs is the way we play on the road. We go into other barns and take care of business. Cannot wait to see Allen playing with Bonk or Dickenson. Allen trade was fantastic move

Mews is the leading scoring D-Man right now. He is eligible to play again next year as a 19 year old. We need to be realistic. The ‘07s on London aren’t stellar. You don’t have a cupboard full of 2nds. It would need to be Hawery. There would be no reason for Boyd to move Mews for anything less. And we have to be reasonably certain that Hawery is not going to waive his NTC after all that around the draft to go to Ottawa. The only connection is Amidovski who he played with last year.

Fair. So it is unlikely then. I’m so unsure what the Knights will do. Probably nothing.

Please don't entertain this with paragraphs of reasoning. Most "lads" know it's an unnecessary, unrealistic pipe dream

If nothing is done this team is still incredibly stacked. Let us be happy with how fortunate we have been 2023 OHL finalist, 2024 OHL champs, 2025 TBD, but currently #1 in the CHL top 10 so we are a contender again which is incredible. The Barkey, Cowan, Bonk, Dickinson core is phenomenal.

Had someone tell me he’s staying in Guelph.

They considered it, but they think he will be back next year.
That was my thinking after the world juniors too. Would be very risky.

If they did lose him for nothing however that would be hilarious
