I very much disagree with the more high end talent assertion. And the colts have a line that has been to three consecutive conference finals, twice game 7, very likely willing to do whatever it takes to win with their final chance.
Who on Barrie is objectively better then Ritchie or Sennecke?

Knights fans. Who worries you more from the west. Windsor or Kitchener?

Noah Read to me is a player I see becoming a top line talent here. Very excited to see his development. He’s been so good so far. Such a nice surprise.

I'm more concerned about barrie tbh. Not that windsor and kitchener aren't good clubs- they are. However barries moves mean they are on par with London and can beat us. Maybe london should make 1 more move

Ritchie is the best centre in the league imo.
Wakely is without a doubt among the next best; and Wakely, Beaudoin, Jelsma/Gardiner, J.Newton is league-wide unmatched depth of 200’ centres. Patterson, Hemming, Romani, Gardiner at RW is also unmatched imo. Aitcheson-Akey, Eliasson-Bertucci, Tiller-Passmore-Handsor is everything anyone could ask for in a defence corps at this level. Hillebrandt and Hebrik is arguably the top goaltending tandem.
Barrie is LOADED with all-purpose hockey players.

Very interesting. I do feel we have more depth. They do have a skilled group no doubt and a killer North Bay line, but on par I am not sure.

I like Londons D more, I like Londons forwards more: Barkey, O’Reilly, Cowan, Nicholl, Montgomery, Halttunnen, Nurmi, Sim, Julien better high end and more grit.

Just my two cents, Barrie matches London for top 6 and top pairing D, goal is very close.

London has greater depth that is negated in an OHL final with all the television stops. It should come down to injuries and defensive systems (coaching). I could see going 7 games OT. Barrie is twice the team Oshawa was last year year.

Exactly my thinking

Barrie would kill the Oshawa of last year

I think Mccue for the right price will have a better impact than Luchanko. Should be considerably less than Luchanko and when it comes to playoff hockey having another big body would fit London's system better. Adding another top 6 forward allows London to roll 4 lines all the way to the final.

Cowan, Barkey, Halt
Mccue, O'Rielly, Montgomery
Sim, Julian, Nurmi
Read, Nichol, Van Gorp.

Creates a 1A 1B and then 3A 3B. Other teams can match the top 6 but no team is matching the bottom 6.
If injuries arise or a series gets too messy you have Hawery, Van Bommel, Boulton, Aboflan to slot in as needed.

I think you only watch Knights games. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, you just obviously cannot really comment about the amount grit on the colts roster.
Who is your guy comparable to Sim? I get that you have some nice two way guys, but I don’t think you have someone who can match the level of grit as Sim. Our lineup may look skill heavy, but they all have the ability to be assholes. The experience to go 4 rounds deep. If both teams are fortunate enough to make it to the finals I look forward to being right and seeing us win through an overwhelming level of grit. All I can say is the Knights guys know how to win in the OHL playoffs.

Aitcheson I suppose, the kid is a skilled beast. Maybe Eliasson if a mean streak with occasional lack of discipline counts for something. Barrie is a heavy team that is relatively disciplined.
VanSteensel, Wakely, Beaudoin, Patterson, Newton, Derbidge, Passmore, Tiller are all gritty. Jelsma is one those kids with farm strength.

Good to know! 3rd round in the east will be exciting. Probably a 6-7 gamer

For those worried about how we will fare against other contenders. Who would you like us to get before the deadline?

Round 2 KGN-OSH could be a 7 gamer too. We shall see. I will guess Barrie manhandles Brampton or Niagara.

I really hope the rumour of Jett Luchanko to Saginaw is not a real thing and just speculation.
