I think the only facet that this team is better than '04-05 is the forward depth 1-15.
Top 6 forwards, defence corps, goalies I would say '04-05 is superior.
But really, who cares? Different era. Enjoy what you have to watch once the full team is together.

How many cards do you have left if teams are allowed only 30?
I assume at least 1 with the continued trade speculation but I don't know the exact rule on the 30 card limit.
Did Wilmore, Leonard and Bidgood not use a card?

Looking at the Stats page, I would assume the Knights are at 30. There have been 32 entries, but Caleb Mitchell and Brendan Gerber I would assume are not on A cards. Bidgood, has played 16 games, I don't think there is anyway he did not use an A card.

So I guess the only wild cards would be if they were forced to use a card on Willmore and Leonard, having only played 3 games and 5 games respectively. I am not familiar enough with the system to say, if there is a loophole to avoid using a card on those guys being carryover players from last year.

Returning overagers (Leonard, Willmore) typically use cards automatically. But someone did mention they thought Willmore did not use a card. Don't know how that works if that's correct.

The only wildcard is if Cohen Bidgood used an A card. I assume he did, but if Kasper Halttunen being at the AHL level counts as him being away and those games didn’t count towards his card then maybe…

But I’m petty sure he wore a visor so I think he’s good and had a A card

I agree, he wore a cage for a while but I also seem to remember him switching to a visor.

Then that was really puzzling why we signed Andonis Fimis. Decent D, but I guess Mark thinks we are fine upfront and I guess we are. Luchanko would have been the cherry on top, but hey, 3 more years of Hawery I like too.

Nobody is disagreeing that a Luchanko/Hawery trade can't come now, what they're questioning is if the Knights have any cards left to add another player.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bidgood could also be classified as B card with this "floating card" rule with multiple guys away at NHL Camps being a younger "bubble" player.
