This team is absolutely loaded now. This will be a boost to the PP. They will need to move some bodies out for sure! This could push someone like Nurmi or Sim to the 4th line when they have a full lineup.

What could the lines look like once Kasper gets back?

Cowan - Barkey - Halttunen
Julien - O'Reilly - Montgomery
Nurmi - Sim - Nicholl
Van Gorp - Read - Van Bommel

I don't think EVG deserves to be on the 4th line, i Just don't know where else you put him.
Hawery needs to play as well, I am sure Read and Van Bommel will rotate with some guys.

But that still leaves several OHL caliber players in the press box each night. Hawery, Boulton, Arrowsmith, Bidgood, Aboflan.

We will need lots of bodies come WJC time, so maybe we hang on and rotate guys until then, but these guys need ice time and it's not fair to just keep them sitting for long stretches.

All of the people who said Halttunen won’t be back haha! Don’t get me wrong, I want success for one of my favourite players, I just want him to have success here one more time!

I'll take it. Won't be my last wrong one either.

If that were true, I’d assume the Hunters think there’s no ice for Gleb in London and would rather him play somewhere like the USHL.

Without Haltts, let’s remember, there are sixteen (16!) forwards on this club.

Echoing @rve24 , hoping London can flip one or two F’s for pick restocking.

Definitely think this club needs some depth on defence too. Not a number 1 type. But somewhere in the 2-6 range.
There isn't any room for Gleb this year with Nurmi and Halttunen
Knights found a loop hole to keep Gleb till next year

Dale mixes up lines a lot but for the time being, and when he (Sim) returns, I believe O’Reilly, Julien, and Sim are your centers. Fourth line is anyone’s guess. I think Barkey and Cowan are better on wing. O’Reilly is the true #1 center.

It wouldn’t even shock me if they went out and acquired a top center eventually due to Julien’s inconsistency and Sim’s shenanigans. Team is 05 heavy, this may be the year we see Hunters be aggressive buyers.

Can we call this the team of the millennium!
Easy there. Posts like these are exactly why London and their fans are hated.

Statistically they won’t come close to any other past great team and they still have to perform.

But it’s nice adding Montgomery and Haltts without having to give up anything. Other than that USHL transfer fee.

This is what I got if you want to spread it out.

Barkey - O’Rielly - Cowan
Nurmi - Julien - Halttunen
Van Gorp - Nicholl - Montgomery
Sim - Hawery - Read

If good friends Halttunen and Nurmi don't mind not playing on a different line, then out Halttunen with Cowan and Barkey.

Barkey - Cowan - Halttunen
Montgomery - O’Rielly - Julien
Van Gorp - Nicholl - Nurmi
Sim - Hawery - Read

No. I'll reserve that type lofty praise til it plays itself out.
But I will they have a shot to be one of the better squads if things fall.into place and they have some good fortune.
Agreed they have to prove they can hit another gear
