This team is absolutely loaded now. This will be a boost to the PP. They will need to move some bodies out for sure! This could push someone like Nurmi or Sim to the 4th line when they have a full lineup.
London fans are very lucky.
I called this too damn I'm two for two on info
All of the people who said Halttunen won’t be back haha! Don’t get me wrong, I want success for one of my favourite players, I just want him to have success here one more time!
There isn't any room for Gleb this year with Nurmi and HalttunenIf that were true, I’d assume the Hunters think there’s no ice for Gleb in London and would rather him play somewhere like the USHL.
Without Haltts, let’s remember, there are sixteen (16!) forwards on this club.
Echoing @rve24 , hoping London can flip one or two F’s for pick restocking.
Definitely think this club needs some depth on defence too. Not a number 1 type. But somewhere in the 2-6 range.
Dale mixes up lines a lot but for the time being, and when he (Sim) returns, I believe O’Reilly, Julien, and Sim are your centers. Fourth line is anyone’s guess. I think Barkey and Cowan are better on wing. O’Reilly is the true #1 center. What could the lines look like once Kasper gets back?
Cowan - Barkey - Halttunen
Julien - O'Reilly - Montgomery
Nurmi - Sim - Nicholl
Van Gorp - Read - Van Bommel
I don't think EVG deserves to be on the 4th line, i Just don't know where else you put him.
Hawery needs to play as well, I am sure Read and Van Bommel will rotate with some guys.
But that still leaves several OHL caliber players in the press box each night. Hawery, Boulton, Arrowsmith, Bidgood, Aboflan.
We will need lots of bodies come WJC time, so maybe we hang on and rotate guys until then, but these guys need ice time and it's not fair to just keep them sitting for long stretches.
Can we call this the team of the millennium!
Easy there. Posts like these are exactly why London and their fans are hated. Can we call this the team of the millennium!
Agreed they have to prove they can hit another gearNo. I'll reserve that type lofty praise til it plays itself out.
But I will they have a shot to be one of the better squads if things fall.into place and they have some good fortune.
Not yet. They’ll make some moves, but wait till after WJCWhen everyone officially back, Who goes to Jr B?
Can’t believe Haltunen gets sent back before Sale. I know it’s different organizations, but Halts was a superior impact player in the O last year compared to Sale. Time for the Rangers to trade everything that isn’t nailed down. He’s supposed to play tomorrow
Knights welcome Halttunen back from Sharks organization - Ontario Hockey League
The San Jose Sharks have returned winger Kasper Halttunen to the London Knights for the 2024-25 season.chl.ca
I'm guessing spencer gets moved with a forwardWhen everyone officially back, Who goes to Jr B?
I mean, Julien has seen minutes with the younger forwards lately. Think Dale is trying to get more out of him.Julien and Barkey may see some third line minutes if they don’t start scoring soon.
lol. They will light the lamp tonight now…….
