I know Dale likes toughness on the 4th line, but Read brings so much offensively that I find it difficult to rationalize scratching him.

He's got the confidence to hold onto the puck and create offence, which is rare for less heralded 17 year olds.

Nicholl's line speed is causing all kinds of troubles for Guelph, along with Van Gorp and Read. More offense coming from the defense again today accounting for three goals, they had 5 out of 6 on Friday.

Except he was directly at fault on a giveaway which led to a Guelph goal….other then that he’s played well.

47 Montgomery looks like he will be fine in this league. Needs to put on some weight for sure.
This is the first game Elliott has looked shaky. I’m surprised he started the 2nd period but he’s bounced back nicely. Could have had a couple of those goals but it is what it is.
Nobody on Guelph is worth trading for given what the prices will be. I’d take Luchanko but he’s nowhere near tops on the list of what we need.

Team win, but not a full team effort. Good for the 2 points and the Van Gorp line, but horribly defensive played game, take it, go home and regroup
