Nicholl is a center, as is Julien. I would hate to break up the Sim-Nicholl-Van Gorp chemistry. They have just been crazily good of late.Barkey-O’Reilly-Cowan
Montgomery-Julien-Nicholl
Nurmi-Sim-Van Gorp
Bidgood-Van Bommel-Arrowsmith
Dickinson-Brzustewicz
Woolley-Bonk
Jenken-Fagen

Medvedev
Nicholl is a center, but he has been playing the wing and Sim has been playing the middle. They will swap up depending on the situation but Sim seems to be taking most of the faceoffs. Last game Nicholl took 0 and Sim took 21. Friday Nicholl took 2 to Sims 14.Nicholl is a center, as is Julien. I would hate to break up the Sim-Nicholl-Van Gorp chemistry. The Knights haven't officially announced it yet, but Jeff Marek posted it.Is it official ?
I am unable to find any reviews on the signing of Blake Montgomery. Is he signed or not?
Montgomery played in Lincoln's most previous game so something is not sitting right with me here. Also seems strange that he would opt to come here after how the Knights treated and handled his brother. The Knights haven't officially announced it yet, but Jeff Marek posted it.
Jeff is usually a pretty reliable source, so I would say it is done. But of course, nothing is done till it is officially posted by the team and even then we have the mysterious Zakharov post haha.
Blake was a healthy scratch for Lincoln on November 1 and 2 - https://ushl.com/ht/#/player/10113/85/blake-montgomery. He's posted a thank you note to Lincoln.Montgomery played in Lincoln's most previous game so something is not sitting right with me here. I think they developed him into a minor pro hockey player, did not try to trade him but let him walk to play at home. Don’t think that is mistreatmentMontgomery played in Lincoln's most previous game so something is not sitting right with me here. I would say it’s shaping up to be the deepest team ever. Would be 14 NHL drafted players and we would still have the draft eligiblesMontgomery - Barkey - Cowan
Nurmi - O’Rielly - Halttunen**
Sim - Julien - Nichol
Van Gorp - Hawery - Van Bommel
Dickinson - Bonk
Woolley - Brzustewicz
Jenken - Spencer
Elliott
Medvedev
** if returned
The only thing missing from this team is a true shutdown D. I would really love Andrew Gibson (one of the best in the league), but the Soo are turning it around, so that might not be possible.
But this is shaping up to be another deep team. We just gotta hit another gear which the Knights no doubt will…. Care I say that they are as deep as the 2005 team?
Forgot Luchanko! hahaMontgomery - Barkey - Cowan

Need to get a Musty and or Luchanko to venture into 2005 territory and probably a drafted DI think they developed him into a minor pro hockey player, did not try to trade him but let him walk to play at home. Don’t think that is mistreatment

I know there is lots of talk about moving some of the 17 y.o. guys in the 4th line rotation but if they buy into the system and contribute when they can ie. world junior break, injuries, etc. There will be lots of opportunity next year when we see most of the top 9 move on. Crazy to see how deep London is throughout the roster & prospects with still an average draft pick cupboard.I would say it’s shaping up to be the deepest team ever. The League messed up the deal. Free agent signing rules were not followed properly and it was squashed. Can someone explain what occurred with the Michael Zakharov kid?
The 05 team had 9 forwards, 4 defenseman, & 2 goalies drafted into the NHL, 2-1st's & 2-2nd'sNeed to get a Musty and or Luchanko to venture into 2005 territory and probably a drafted D
There is far more parity in the league now, however apples to apples it’s at least comparable. With this years team likely putting the best 6 players on the ice at one time. The 05 team had 9 forwards, 4 defenseman, & 2 goalies drafted into the NHL, 2-1st's & 2-2nd's
This team(including Blake & Kasper) would have 9 forwards, 3 defenseman, & 0 goalies, 4-1st's & 1-2nd)
Those 05 numbers are including their 16 & 17 year old players so 2 years from now this team will have more drafted players. But I doubt they are looked at as dominant of a team.
This team would need to 49-5 while outscoring their opponents 260 - 80 to have a similar record. Its not close
The 05 team was a special team. It would take another special 100-year team to duplicate this 05 team. The closest one was also an 05 team, and the Knights beat them twice in the "M" Cup, the last game by a score of 4-0Need to get a Musty and or Luchanko to venture into 2005 territory and probably a drafted D
With that being said though is it still a potential deal/player for us? Looks raw (6’4 fwd)The League messed up the deal. Free agent signing rules were not followed properly and it was squashed.
