No to trading hawery at all costs. This was mentioned before- he can't be traded before. It's also well known that he didn't want to go anywhere but london so likely has a ntc?

IMO Luchanko talks must include Hawery.
He may be willing to reunite with McLean??
Especially considering McLean and Stevens are already playing big minutes and regular PP time.

Fagan...

Fans are saying he is worthless and he must be traded. I just find it funny because if "we" think he is worthless then why would anyone else want him haha..it is a crazy oxymoron.

FYI I do not think he is that bad at all for a rookie defenceman. Both Jenken and Fagan are slowing developing and I think that Fagan has a higher ceiling than Jenken and both will be decent to solid D men as the year is ending.
Must be one of the posters I'm blocking as I did not see those comments. Fagan is still young and will need to come into the fold very slowly. The kid has alot of upside and if the right people can develop him he might be a real good one. He's an offensive minded D that needs more work on his D game. It will come in time.

I think Nurmi has more to give. I thought he’d be a ppg player. I still think he gets there
Yes, Nurmi is still in transition period, some takes a little longer than others, he'll get there eventually I am sure. I still think Mark will be looking for a top 6 RW forward, if Halttunen is not back. We have rookies now, and to go far in the playoffs, you need experience at every position, especially with your top 6 positions. IMHO

I can’t help myself/you will all hate me lol

Luchanko for Hawery plus
Musty for Fagen, Bidgood plus
Andovski or Allen or Gibson for Jenken plus

If this happens LOOK OUT if not still LOOK OUT cause we have a damn good core

I also am okay with just tinkering (McCue etc plus a stay at home D)
Mark doesn't mortgage the future for a championship run. End of discussion.

Fair enough. Like I said if he tinkers with some gritty pieces like McCue and a hard nosed stay at home D that solidifies us. If not internal growth. We are in a win win situation where if we do something we improve if we don’t we still improve

What is your obsession with McCue? What does he bring that guys like Boulton, Sim, Aboflan, Arrowsmith can't deliver?

To be fair to Nurmi he has not really got much of a chance other than some 5 v 5 shifts with a few of the big boys. I expect him to be solid playoff guy when push comes to shove at the end of the year though. Just has that North/South Finnish grinding game that will come in handy for game 69 and on..

Very well could be, tells us how much Fagan sucks yet somehow he is going to be the key cog netting us Musty haha.

I totally agree though, I do not mind either Fagan or Jenken at this point. Dylan is doing a pretty good job sheltering both of them against some bottom lines and even throwing them out individually with one of Dickinson or Bonk to give one of the others a rest.

You can tell they have come a long way since opening night, lots of learning left to do for these rookies.

What if the new NCAA rule allows him to leave next year? Would you still not trade him?

Oh! Wow, Briir Long selected 10th rd by Brantford in 23, was available for only a 5th rounder, was traded to North Bay yesterday. I was hoping for London to have an eye on this guy, guess London is packed with B developers. Fairly certain, the Battalion will have themselves a pretty good player down the road out of this deal. He's had Will Nicholl's numbers at the junior B level with the Stars in St Thomas last year, I don't know about his skating and his attitude with others around him, but with these kinds of numbers he must have done something right, with the right team in the O he should do good

Poster on the Luchanko prospect thread (main board) is saying Luchanko for Cowan since something is obviously wrong with Cowan and the Knights since they stripped him of last year's captaincy and gave it to Barkey.

Good for a laugh.

Though been going on for several posts now and he's adamant that Cowan was captain last year lol

I heard he only wanted to play for his hometown team.
