Edmonton has a history of rushing prospects into the nhl, so don't be suprised if o'reilly doesn't come back for a while

The last teenager that played more than 20 games for the Oilers was Jesse Puljujarvi 7 years ago.. before that it was also Puljujarvi and McDavid 8 years agoEdmonton has a history of rushing prospects into the nhl, so don't be suprised if o'reilly doesn't come back.
Good for him!! He has earned it for sure!!Gazizov signs AHL deal. Won’t be returning
So happy for him!Gazizov signs AHL deal. Won’t be returning
I’d be surprised. He was the last pick of round 1. I think he may get a game if he does well in camp as a reward/taste… they probably expect a big year from himEdmonton has a history of rushing prospects into the nhl, so don't be suprised if o'reilly doesn't come back for a while

Future = brightGame day!
As the 2024-25 season is officially upon us, we can now look to the future and a long overdue celebration in Rimouski.
This team on paper could be better than the team of the century with 10 NHL drafted players, 6 world junior players and 4 first round picks.
Tonight however is the future, mostly kids that will be a core in 2025-26. Nichol, Hawery, Van Gorp, Van Bommel, Boulton make up the forward group and Brzustewicz, Fagan, Jenkin and Wooley on defense. Some of these faces might change but it’s very promising especially if they can win with the big dogs.
Drop the puck!!!!
I believe he is on the rosterDid aboflan sign? Can't recall if london signed him or not
I like that better!Stab at starting lineup:
Nurmi Julien Hawery
Van Gorp Nichol Bidgood
Van Bommel Read Boulton
Aboflan Gerber Arrowsmith
Woolley Leonard
Jenken Brzustewicz
Spencer
Willmore
Medvedev
Would not worry too much about Rimouski, it's true they do have a very strong team loaded up with talents this year. You can only improve by playing with the best, not the case with the Océanic this year playing in the Q's, like what happened last spring with Drummondville powerhouse team at the Memorial Cup tourney, they did not win a game. I will have the opportunity to go see the Océanic play when they come to northern Abitibi for 3 games, against Rouyn (2) and in Val d'Or(1) at the end of October. Will have a better understanding of their team, they can also trade up, you still need a strong league to play into, to be at the top of your game. Look out for Shawinigan, the Cataractes will also be very strong this year. London has the benefit of playing in a strong division again this year, always helped them playing competitive hockey over the years, of course with the Hunter's hockey heads, that helps a lot. Have a great hockey season fellows. Cheers!Game day!
