I think both teams management are probably ok with it if that’s what it comes down too.
As a fan I’m ok with the Knights riding what they have.

It’s becoming more and more certain that Kaleb Lawrence is coming from Ottawa to fill that void.

I mean at this point I would rather save assets etc for next season as I think they will actually be setup better to win if they can get a goalie. A 3rd line winger, and a Depth D man is all I think they will bring, so if Lawrence is that 3rd line winger I am fine with that.

I guess Lawrence could be a checking forward. Don’t know if he’s quick enough for London’s style. He has taken a lot of draws for Ottawa and sits 50%. Lots of PIM.

Wonder what a Melee/McCoy package would cost. Nicholl, Woolley, picks?

In fairness, Ottawa paid an 8th round pick to acquire him so I doubt it’s anything more than a wash.

I do not believe they want to deal Nicholl or Woolley unless they are getting something elite. I like what both of them bring and will continue to get even better.

The Warren Rychel rule is starting to have an effect, can't trade picks 10 yrs down the road. Kind of like interest rates takes a while to affect the market.
