We might not be going after anybody . Which wouldn't necessarily be the smartest move. Rather sell than stand pat

In my limited viewing Jax Dubois is a game changer. His face off dominance can't be understated and would be a massive add.
I also did not realize how big he was - 6.04.
Last game in Guelph he was a threat every faceoff and I believe led directly to 2 goals.
To say the least I was very impressed and surprised he has not been drafted or signed.

Anyone else noticed that a lot of the teams contending have their fans expressing a NEED for shoring up their defense ? There's an age-old axiom that defense wins championships, and it would seem that defense is the least of London's worries. It's the main reason that the team has managed to put together an impressive win streak, over the course of the WJT, while having 3 of our better players absent. Not only has our top 6 played well, but the JR. B callups have stepped in and haven't looked out of place. That's DEPTH at that position and translates toward being a continuing strength in the future.

Someone mentioned the necessity of re-stocking the draft pick cupboard. During the off season, that can be accomplished by trading off the more senior d-men, and promoting a couple of the rookies who've shown that they belong at this level.

Opposing fan worries about the quality and lack of defensive depth on their teams is somewhat comforting, as it speaks to the chances of the Knights finishing strong, and being set up for a good playoff run as well. :thumbu:

Making lots of sense, good write up, Purple Phart.

We could have the best 6 defencemen in junior hockey along with the top goalie and still lose if the overall team refuse to play a team system implemented by the coaching staffs

I'm afraid woolley might prove to be the most valuable piece we have besides Van Gorp.
I would prefer to move Nicholl before those two
I sense an OA and an O4 coming in.

As of yet Beck hasn't been traded maybe its going to be Beck & McCoy coming in leaving room for 1 OA If we have the cards.

Only time will tell what Mark has in mind

Come on Mark! Let’s get a move in here. Pitre, Peer and Beck are still out there in theory

Anyone else on Flint on the trade block?
Hayes has been traded
Kressler traded
Giroux sounds like has been traded

I think that's about it for us, unless I can interest you in some used rolls of tape, or maybe a half eaten sandwich?

4 teams have not made any big moves yet, and Saginaw made a couple with Windsor and Sarnia. All these team are all still in the race for Beck Kitchener Sudbury Saginaw and London, not sure what Kingston still have to offer. In any event who will get Beck will pay dear for him. Just look at Soo what they pay for Frasca and Hays, three players plus seven picks, this was most likely what they offered for Beck and it wasn't enough. How much more will it take to get Beck?
