We might not be going after anybody . Which wouldn't necessarily be the smartest move. Rather sell than stand pat
Except for SaginawBoth Kitchener and Soo loss tonight, Knights now have the best winning percentage of the Os
Never heard of Saginaw, who are theyExcept for Saginaw
Why on earth would they sellWe might not be going after anybody . Which wouldn't necessarily be the smartest move. Rather sell than stand pat
Yeah, selling doesn’t make sense. Team is too good to sell. Good goal differential would tell you that it isn’t smoke and mirrors. Team is legit this year. Why on earth would they sell
Don't have a lot of draft picks in the cupboard. Going to to have to sell eventuallyWhy on earth would they sell
They can do that in the summer, after they got the best of them to win the big CupDon't have a lot of draft picks in the cupboard. Going to to have to sell eventually
Making lots of sense, good write up, Purple Phart.Anyone else noticed that a lot of the teams contending have their fans expressing a NEED for shoring up their defense ? There's an age-old axiom that defense wins championships, and it would seem that defense is the least of London's worries. It's the main reason that the team has managed to put together an impressive win streak, over the course of the WJT, while having 3 of our better players absent. Not only has our top 6 played well, but the JR. B callups have stepped in and haven't looked out of place. That's DEPTH at that position and translates toward being a continuing strength in the future.
Someone mentioned the necessity of re-stocking the draft pick cupboard. During the off season, that can be accomplished by trading off the more senior d-men, and promoting a couple of the rookies who've shown that they belong at this level.
Opposing fan worries about the quality and lack of defensive depth on their teams is somewhat comforting, as it speaks to the chances of the Knights finishing strong, and being set up for a good playoff run as well.
They won’t sell, they trade spare parts for picks. Has worked well for yearsDon't have a lot of draft picks in the cupboard. Going to to have to sell eventually
