Well. I just checked my phone and I'm still not the General Manager :naughty:
But historically in this position the current General Manager will make a couple tweaks and let the chips fall. ( that could involve some minor selling and minor buying to get there )
London doesn't subscribe to the full cycle of build it up tear it down that many of the other teams employ and I don't expect they will this year either..

We could tear it down and still be a beauty playoff team

yes. and i try not to post the same thing over and over or go over the top with unrealistic expectations or views.

london will do what london always does. move a player for a very good, but not top end guy and roll on. they dont sell, they dont aggressively buy.

they do what they do and have and will work that recipe. posting and talking about magical hypicatical situations is pointless because the hunters have their plan and do the same thing year in, year out, to their credit.

That is true. They have a way of regulating their emotions way better than I do

It’s early… might be smart to sell. Idk if Cowan will make the Leafs next year so why not count on him, bonk, Dickinson all back.

Sell George, Edward, Mackinnon, McCue, Simpson, Sim, Gazizov, Julien

We could get a bunch of picks

Why would you trade Julien??? Are you mad he will be back next year won't make the jets he's a big body who I think could have a big year next year. I'm all for selling but you have to do it like the knights have before few top guys out but keep the core still

Oh my ! This is not London thread pages that I used to know, giving up on the Knights and the season is not even full two months old yet.

London will be fine, some tweaking to do yet but fellows since when do we sell a team in progression. They will be much better complete team by year's end, London Knights do not wave white towels. Cheers!

The Rangers have had a start that I truly envy. Why can’t we have everyone playing up to their potential?

I noticed what the Rangers have been drafting the last 2 years, I kind of suspected they had a much better team the experts were placing them.

If it's a one game season, I'd say heck yes give it your all, but it's not, it's a sixty-eight games season. It's very hard to stay on top when you don't have a bar level to shoot for, in contrast London have an example to set up how hight they need to shoot for. The Knights have been playing 3 in 3 weekends and 3 in 4 as well of late, they showed some fatigue this last weekend, every team they meet are playing them as if's a playoff game, it's an excellent playoff practice for them. This is where the Knights really get their boost, playing high tempo high intensity games all season every game from all their opponents, it is preparing them for playoffs hockey. This is the reason I keep saying they can not take one shift off all season, because all teams they face put their little extras every night, London are viewed as the big bad giant of this league. They are looking good and are in a great position, a little tweak here and there and they will be just fine. Cheers !

Just when I think you've made the most ridiculous post ever, you top yourself with another even more ridiculous post. Look, the Knights aren't going 68-0 and they cannot have the best 20 players in the league. This isn't EA Sports. Just watch the games and enjoy them.

I'd hate to see your posts if the Knights missed the playoffs regularly.

You guys that wanna bail already make me laugh. We haven't even had Sim (or MacKinnon basically) in the lineup, we still have multiple rookies (and vets) learning new roles, and we are currently sitting tied for 3rd in the standings, yet you're still ready to blow things up and focus on next year!!!

How was Peterborough doing at this time last season? The year isn't decided in November!

Chill.....just chill!

Monthly Prospect Update
2023-11-23.PNG

I have added in a couple of new players to keep an eye on in red. Most of the existing ones you have already heard my thoughts on.

Shane Vansaghi - starting to pick up the points lately. He is a late 06 birthday meaning same draft class as Hagens & Moore. He has yet to commit to a college and he played AAA in St. Louis. The more I look at him the more I think we may see him in a knights jersey next season. He is also another client of Billy Sullivan

Cohen Bidgood - yet to see him play in person but appears to be another player that plays with a chip on his shoulder. Being a PPG player in the GOJHL at 16 is a good sign, also has 51 pims. Was recently traded from Chatham to St. Mary's. Might have an outside shot at a spot in the lineup next season. Boulton, Van Bommel, Bidgood could be an energy line for years to come.

Charlie Cerrato & Braiden Clark - Both longshots to show up but I figured I would touch on them. Both are committed to NCAA schools next season and are playing in their 2nd USHL season for the Youngstown phantoms. Like I said, bit of a longshot to see either of them, but for reference, Broadhurst lit up the USHL for 2 season before joining the knights, As well Militic, Martenet, Regula all showed up in London after playing in the USHL.

Every year there are prospects that do well in lower leagues that cannot step it up to the OHL level, as well as Americans that decide not to show up, But I'm starting to think this might be the deepest London Knights prospect pool I have seen in quite a while.

IF anyone would like to have a discussion on other prospects im all ears. Maybe turn this forum around from all the crazy talk of selling off the roster...

This is fantastic! I’m intrigued by Vansaghi. What type of player is he? Where we he be in our lineup next year?

The Rangers are also playing well above their expectations this year, at some point you have to think they will level out ... right?? .... I hope! haha
Agreed maybe they level out and maybe we do as well. I think I agree with the majority of the board and I think the Knights end up holding and tweaking with a minor add or subtraction
