I don’t know what people expect. Even the top programs only have a chance to win a championship every four years. Three if things break your way. London went to the final last year and now still sit in the upper echelon of the standings. It’s a development league. Who cares.

Bookmark it I'd love to be wrong but I just don't see it happening wirh how thr tram is now and the limited cards will make any playoff run challenging only time will tell
Go back one year earlier and read all the posts back then at around this time, and how did the team do after all those written off comments. Just saying.

Not going to name players here but two players players on this team are in needs of reviewing team work or a total transformation if they are to stay on this team, success reacquires consistency and hard work at both end of the spectrum. I can;t see the Hunters being very happy with their performances at this moment, and yet the season is still young there are lots of time to work with or replacing them. In any case this team will be fine by mid February certainly before the playoffs, the goal is not finishing first although nice, it's to be rolling in unison on all cylinders by the start of after season IMHO

Start on time and show up. 2 first period shots is not except-able as is digging yourself out of 2-0 + hole all the frigging time. Show some desperation to start the game.

Soooo, are we planning on actually naming a captain this year, or are we waiting until the trade deadline passes to see who else we bring on board? Seems a little odd to me regardless of what the team / players have already discussed or determined. As a fan / season ticket holder, I think its looooooooong overdue. Just announce it already.

Not a fan of naming a captain for the sake of naming a captain. Nobody has stood out yet.

A captain will be named when they are good and ready. About 47 other things more pressing with this team right now. Its in November that most teams find themselves. Gonna take a bit longer with this bunch.

Sadly for us Mailloux or Winterton wasn’t sent back as OA. Either one would have worked as Captain. Winterton would have solved top six forward need as well. Anybody know time line for McKinnon and Sim’s return? I thought 77 looked better against Erie than his previous outings.

Dickinson is still my captain pick

Love Giroux game...little shit that everyone wants on their team
Dickinson would be my choice too...a natural leader. He could perhaps become the best D-man ever to play in London....I know that's lofty praise. Emphasis on "perhaps" as it's too early to make that call, and we've had lots of good ones come out of London.

Didn't you guys have Del Zotto and Carlson at the same time? Zadorov? Bouchard? Mete/Boqvist/Merkley were all pretty good while here? Mailloux has a chance to be in the conversation.

Depends whether you’re judging their NHL careers or not.

Syvret is my all time favourite since I started watching in the 90s. But his NHL career was small.

Based on NHL careers

1. Carlson
2. Wideman
3. Bouchard
4. Methot
5. Zadorov

Who did I miss?
