This is fantastic! I’m intrigued by Vansaghi. What type of player is he? Where we he be in our lineup next year?
If he were to show up he would probably fit into the 2nd/ 3rd liner role. He has slightly less PPG than Gilmartin had in his u18 season, but is on a much better team. I haven't seen much of him but he is not afraid of the physical game and has good offensive skill too. Maybe a slightly more offensive/ slightly less physical version of mccue. He could easily play on a checking/ pest line or on a more skilled scoring line. Hard to predict place in the lineup when there are potentially 13 returning forwards on the lineup & 9 potential prospects on my list above that could show up. But regardless he would be a welcomed addition to any team!

I have added in a couple of new players to keep an eye on in red. Most of the existing ones you have already heard my thoughts on.

Shane Vansaghi - starting to pick up the points lately. He is a late 06 birthday meaning same draft class as Hagens & Moore. He has yet to commit to a college and he played AAA in St. Louis. The more I look at him the more I think we may see him in a knights jersey next season. He is also another client of Billy Sullivan

Cohen Bidgood - yet to see him play in person but appears to be another player that plays with a chip on his shoulder. Being a PPG player in the GOJHL at 16 is a good sign, also has 51 pims. Was recently traded from Chatham to St. Mary's. Might have an outside shot at a spot in the lineup next season. Boulton, Van Bommel, Bidgood could be an energy line for years to come.

Charlie Cerrato & Braiden Clark - Both longshots to show up but I figured I would touch on them. Both are committed to NCAA schools next season and are playing in their 2nd USHL season for the Youngstown phantoms. Like I said, bit of a longshot to see either of them, but for reference, Broadhurst lit up the USHL for 2 season before joining the knights, As well Militic, Martenet, Regula all showed up in London after playing in the USHL.

Every year there are prospects that do well in lower leagues that cannot step it up to the OHL level, as well as Americans that decide not to show up, But I'm starting to think this might be the deepest London Knights prospect pool I have seen in quite a while.

IF anyone would like to have a discussion on other prospects im all ears. Maybe turn this forum around from all the crazy talk of selling off the roster...
Thanks for posting this...much appreciated.

Sorry I am not familiar with the "cards", but is Woolley strictly on a Jr. B Card? His few showings he has really impressed and he is lights years above Brzustewicz in all facets especially his strength on the wall and in the corners. I understand we want to give Bursty the game time for development but if their is any injuries to anyone on the back end I believe we will see a Bonk situation and Woolley playing come playoff time.

Next move this team makes should be to move McKinnon and upgrade unfortunately we can't afford to wait for him to be ready only to get injured again kids made of glass.

Upgrade that OA slot put your feelings aside and move on.

Just when I think you've made the most ridiculous post ever, you top yourself with another even more ridiculous post. Look, the Knights aren't going 68-0 and they cannot have the best 20 players in the league. This isn't EA Sports. Just watch the games and enjoy them.

I'd hate to see your posts if the Knights missed the playoffs regularly.

Quote of the year here I love it. Nothing better than reading about how much a player "sucks" but then the next sentence they are going to net us a big fish like the other teams are just out there dying to take our garbage for their best players haha! ( Niagara does not count ). Thank you for this.

After those two losses....i think a northern swing is good for the team. Less pressure on the road. Our top guys played well. Simpson in net is still a huge upgrade from last year.

It has been said that the greatest curse you can place upon someone is to label them as having "unlimited potential". The expectation that players will improve month over month and year over year isn't realistic especially when it comes to teenagers. The sad reality is that sometimes you peak at eighteen. The talent/skill maxes-out, the hockey sense maxes-out and the love of the game wanes when you've always been the best player on your team and now find yourself struggling on the third line at this level. Given how much families have sacrificed to get their child to this level it must be a difficult conversation to have as the dream/desire comes to an end and their education package is the only pay day. Most of these kids will never play professionally, they are simply the players that help the few that do play professionally develop.
