2nd in winning percentage in the OHL. I’m sure we’ll see some tweaking but nothing major. Remember, the Knights made it to within 2 games of a championship last year. Hard to repeat that.

I agree some minor tweaks. I do think we should push to get a couple of solid players to add to our lineup to round it out. We have a good shot this year.

Would there be interest in trading Mackinnon + picks for Deni Goure from OS? 27 points in 19 games. Smaller forward though. Or how about Hayes and Kressler from Flint for Mackinnon, Johnston and picks? Or Peer and Abraham from Windsor? Or how about Gazizov + picks for Šalé from Barrie?

Had Cowan played the same number of games(19) as did the current OHL scoring leaders Cowan would be in the lead with 11g 25a for 36 points according to his average per game played. Cowan came back with a great attitude and it does extend to other players on the team, he's is a true leader for sure, the whole team have moved up a notch since his arrival

Doubt very much Mark will want to part with anymore of his indepth defencemen, if any he would go after another experience one just to make sure and give Brzustewicz a little more time to develop. The pressure at this level for a young defender is tremendous and usually leading to inexperience errors, it's all part of development unfortunately for a rookie defender they all go through it. Eventhough He gave his utmost best on the play ( we've got to give credit on his strong effort) but he fell as he was hurrying up the ice with Karabela to get to the puck, it led to Guelph second goal. This why you want experienced players entering the playoffs season, too much pressure on a rookie can really hurt his development, and in long run it is no good for him and for the team in later years. No comment on the name mentions unless they are of the positive nature for the players or is accompanied with appraisal.

I will say the Knights will only need one top 6 player on offense preferably a centremen and possibly one more experience 19 yr old defender if his availability is there for for depth but can go with what they have right now on defense. They are no more than one player away on offense in my opinion, where they are hurting the most are at the very crucial face-off wins the ones that you are counting on to win the most like on specialty units and in the last 2-3 minutes of a game. They do have some good face off men but they are not consistent, it's very crucial they improve their consistency at the face offs circle at the most importunate times in my opinion

What would you think of Christopoulos from Windsor. With Windsor so bad and he is an overager would be fairly cheap. Could deal MacKinnon elsewhere(niagara) for room?
