Ha! Well he is from London!.....What About him? Are you incapable of forming a sentence?
Cant. Gotta aquiesce to the lowest common denominator. Marketing 101.We got rid of the Canadian flag being pushed around during anthem. We got rid of stupid announcement that we just killed off a penalty. I think we got rid of Taz (maybe) Now we need to kill the Neil Diamond song.
I think objectively you need to look at some of the key underlying numbers to help determine who is for real and who isn't. If you want to look at London specifically, some notable stats:Coming up to the Christmas Break, and this is usually the time when the current version of the team gets assessed. So, given the views to-date, what do we, as fans, see as the strengths & weaknesses of the team ? How well does this team stack up against last season's edition, since that team managed to get to the Championship series ? Can these guys better that mark, and if not, what's lacking to push them over the top ? Given that this year, the Memorial Cup will be hosted by an OHL team, there will be several bona fide candidates to win their way into that tournament as the 2nd OHL entry. Are the Knights contenders ( as currently comprised ) ? This is usually the time frame when buyers & sellers get determined. How do you see the Knights....either, or ?
Lots of questions, but as fans, I'm sure that there will be just as many varied opinions.
This board has been rather stagnant, of late, so take this post as simply an effort toward stimulating some actual hockey discussion.
If rumors are correct..and I hate voicing an opinion based on such...but Perry will NEVER see the HOFIt’s sad cuz it may hurt his HOF chances based on whatever he did wrong.

It's possible that whatever happened wasn't overly serious, but because it's Chicago they are erring on the side of caution. If he lands with another NHL team you can assume that's the case and he will still get in the hall of fame. If he's not picked up then he may not be there. Patrick Roy beat his wife and he's in the hall.If rumors are correct..and I hate voicing an opinion based on such...but Perry will NEVER see the HOF
Bobby Hull was a terrible human being and he is in the HOF. They have, but Roy was elected in 2006 I think? Beating your wife was bad then. And I don't believe what Perry did was nearly as bad as that.Bobby Hull was a terrible human being and he is in the HOF. However, times have changed.
Pete Rose bet on his team to WIN....Perry ,if his actions are a blackeye on the NHL as stated...shouldn't see the HOF in my opinionIt's possible that whatever happened wasn't overly serious, but because it's Chicago they are erring on the side of caution. London is in need of improvement at the faceoff circle, it has been very inconsistent since the beginning of the season, too many goals are scored within 15 seconds after losing draws.. They've had lots of success at center in the past but this is not the case this year. If they don't control the puck they can't score, it also mean if they don't have it the other team has it and they have the better chance to score. They have the talent and the system to take them far but needs much improvement at center to win faceoffs. Reading Scott Darlings comments about the NHLs player assistance program saying that a team can terminate a players contract if they refuse to enter it at the teams request, that could be what's happened here. At which point it wouldn't preclude him from entering the Hall of Fame and I'd bet another Team takes a chance on him. Nobody was picking him up on waivers, his contract was way to high. And let's face it, 18 year career with zero off ice issues.
Gotta change that handle to KnightsnationHa! Well he is from London!.....
...would have been a funny joke if I didn't live in London now.
American spelling being used...Just sayin'. I notice things like that. Carry on...
