That’s just Dyslexia: Pavs was 1’6”. Talk about beating the odds. He played with a #2 Ticonderoga pencil they say, with clothespin for a curve. Slept in Joe Thorntons sock drawer when they were on the road, he’d nestle down in there with his muffled snores sifted through Jumbo’s Lululemon undergarments. For breakfast every morning he’d eat a whole peanut, and promptly take a nap thereafter. But he had a heart that was 5x the size of any other many on the ice, the anti-Rudy he twas, a true tyke with a chip on his shoulder - some say it was a Dorito that fell from Brent Burns’ beard. How he tipped those pucks, oh boy, was that a sight. He’d leap he would like a giddy leprechaun and redirect to whatever corner he’d choose, as if it wer nothing. Some say that’s how he had to get things from the kitchen cabinets at home since even a footstool would leave him short of the countertop. He was sumthing he was, lil’ Joe the peanut boy on ice!
Every single post is a masterpiece. Bravo

may we replace everyone here with different versions of you

I just can't force myself to be impressed with Frondell. He scored four points in this game, and yet his two assists were nothing passes and his two goals were on the PP where he was left completely unguarded in the circle and had tons of time to handle the puck and pick a corner. He turned the puck over a bunch of times on thoughtless passes and didn't carry the puck for more than a couple seconds at a time. Young Eklund (#38) scores less on account of not being on the top PP unit like Frondell is. That's the disparity between their stats. Frondell initiates contact, but he got severely outmuscled every time. I just don't see top line skill at all. Probably the one guy whom we could realistically take at 3 that would make me absolutely livid.
